Well, my dog considers (with scant but admissible argument) that Black Sabbath invented metal, and as such all other metal, even the horrible 80s glam metal, sprung from that seed. As such, he doesn’t consider Sabbath to be any specific type of metal; rather he just considers Black Sabbath.

He will probably get around to czeching out those other bands you mentioned, however.

Your dog, in insisting Black Sabbath invented metal, is not giving the enormous contribution of Iron Butterfly and Led Zepplin to the genre its due.

While BS and IB were American, LZ was British. None of the three were Czech.
