Are 12 Step programs considered faith-based? I know there’s the whole “higher power” thing, but I don’t know what that actually means. I do know quite a few people that have worked the steps over the years and most (if not all) have come through clean.

I honestly don’t know a lot about detox programs, but I’m guessing there’s probably a combination of medication and counseling involved in any good rehab program.

I’ve got second hand experience with 12 step programs. Faith? MAybe but not necessarily religious faith but it seems to me that ti depends who is running the meetings. Someone like Price easily could turn a big book meeting into a big,g big book meeting.
