That’s a good point. The Pocahontas reference is in response to a specific ethnicity claimed by Warren.

I’m not sure that it’s “racist,” but it borders on bigotry - and while I don’t take deep offense, it does seem odd that you’re pretty much trying to defend it.

Because it’s making fun of Warren for claiming to be a “person of color” not Pocahontas. It’s sarcasm not racism. My initial comment about being offended with the comparisons to aunt Jemima was faux-outrage although I haven’t asked my wife what she would think of her grandfather being compared to Uncle Tom.
