The place I have seen bike traffic handled well is Berlin. Most trails have problems when they cross roads, which most of them do.

I think we need to educate cyclists and car drivers to coexist on the roads, with wide enough lanes to allow for that.

Amsterdam, I think they have separate “car lanes” Bikes own the road.
