I never did it with ME1. I didn’t even import my character for some reason. In ME2 insanity was the hardest for me with a vanguard, but still doable with good strategy.

Guess that’s probably why I never did it, because I play a Soldier and strategy tends to involve finding a way to kill everything on the screen without burning through all my heat sinks.
