I saw some Green Week documentary hosted by Tom Brokaw that said China was polluting so much because the standard of living was going up and more Chinese were……wait for it……..wait for it………seeking to emulate the American Consumerist lifestyle.

/Apparently those smoke and toxin-spewing Cold War-era factories that blot out the sky in many cities around China have nothing to do with it…
