I don’t know that actual overall stats but what I’ve saw here in Kentucky since GWB’s war after 9/11…it was National Guard being sent over there over and over again.

Often was the NG and Army Reserve—it depends greatly on the force mix needed and the skills in the unit. A large part of the medic capability, for instance, is deliberately kept in the Reserve. That was a part of the Powell Doctrine—didn’t have the intended effect.
