Sure. If you haven’t noticed, the Iranian government has already been making PUBLIC statements that all the protest and riots are the work of the West.

If NO ONE said a word, if there was not an ounce of criticism from anyone in the West, they would still be blaming this on the West.

Come on, get real.

For a short window in Iran people are questioning what the government and state run media are saying. They don’t believe the election results, right? They probably are not believing that the protests are the result of the west either. BUT, the president of the Great Satan makes a big speech questioning the results and supporting the protesters, the claims of western support for the protesters seems a little more valid. And if the government wasn’t lying about the west supporting the protests, maybe they aren’t lying about the election results.
