There was a stretch in January in NYC where the daily low temperatures were still higher than the average daily high temperatures for January. I’ve seen some of my plants starting to bud, something that should be happening in March.

That follows last year when the climatologists and USDA has reclassified our area’s growing season to the next warmest zone (From 6b into 7a).
