The only election I know of where there wasn’t fishy business where the candidate who lost the PV but won the EC was 1888 with Harrison and Cleveland and Cleveland won his famous non-consecutive second term four years later anyhow. The others: 1824, 1876, and 2000 were full of fishy shit.

i wasnt going for fishy as much as flawed EC

it’s identifying the right states to get to 270, with the least number of votes
i know that’s kind of obvious
i just wonder if it could get to 5m or even 10. and im guessing not

because if the EC is that close (270 or so) then the chances of the popular vote being so skewed doesnt seem likely

3m is a lot though those 3 states were tipped by painfully few votes
