Please refer to the post that contained the original cause for such consternation and indignance, #329.

The original quote was “neocon chickenhawk.”

Fine with me if you want to define Obama as a “neocon chickenhawk”, I can point you to a bunch of disgruntled, crypto-PUMA “progressives” who are falling all over themselves to agree with you.

You won’t find me gung-ho for the drone attacks, NATO excursions into Yemen, Libya, Somalia, or anywhere else, though. Unlike the hair-on-fire so-called “progressives”, I already knew I was voting for a prowar president. There weren’t any viable antiwar candidates in 2008.

Well. You might not know this but I too have used the word chickenhawk here on many occasions. I don’t however push my use of the word too far since I know it makes some people angry. There is also that history I mentioned. I’m not talking about you here I’m simply asking the question “is Obama a chickenhawk?” I think he is since he fits the definition perfectly. There are neocon chickenhawks and liberal chickenhawks. There’s one rather well known comedian on Twitter that started using the phrase “cruise missile liberals” regarding the “engagement” in Libya. I’m kind of the resident hybrid weirdo here.
