Just because there are Europeans out there who think our POTUS is cool, doesn’t make it all go away. They hated Bush, but he was just a point of reference for them. Nothing has changed where it counts.

You may be correct, only time will tell if popularity will translate to deeds. All other things being equal, I prefer that our POTUS would not be hated by out allies.
