It’s amazing what we collect, what makes us comfortable, whether is serves any more of a purpose than to make us feel good.

And that right there is the whole point, I guess.

I don’t need it, but I own it, and throwing it out somehow invalidates my previous judgment. Makes no sense in any logical way, but there I am.

Sometimes this ‘examined life’ really sucks, what with the chilling insights into yourself it provides.

‘Cause right now, the only logical conclusion is that I’m somewhat of a high-functioning moron. And some days the functionality ain’t that high.
