Arkansas’ child molestation laws apply to anyone over the age of 10 who abuses anyone under the age of 18. So Josh could have been charged with molesting even the older girls.

And there are provisions that apply directly to ‘caretakers,’ which Josh most definitely was. Strike two.

However, the statute of limitations is three years - which is probably the most maddening aspect about this case. While Jim Bob and Michelle were fucking around with ‘stern talks’ and bogus ‘rehabilitation’ (and running for the Senate and negotiating their TV deal), they ran out the clock.

And they knew exactly what the fuck they were doing.
