I have a hard time with this stuff too. If I want to paint my front door blaze orange, I should be able to. OTOH, our homeowner’s association got a drug house out of the closed down in less than 2 months. The cops said it would have taken them at least 6 months. They didn’t pay their monthly fees.

I think it has a lot to do with who is on the board and actually doing the work.

Luckily, there aren’t too many enviroweenies in my part of Illinois …

I just don’t choose that lifestyle…if I did I would conform if I said I would and signed a contract….NM is very laid back in that regard…it’s a matter of style, and I like mine very well
