If we pass a tipping point, there is no technology to turn it around. This is just like saying that once the bullet is coming for your head, you really don’t have a way to put on a helmet. You are then fucked.

Well, I don’t think we can change the climate “back”, it is out of our control. I was thinking more along the lines of playing the cards that we are dealt. Our advances in medical technology, energy production, food production, water desalination, etc, will all be amazing in the next 50 years. Compare 1970 to today. What will 2050 look like? I think it will be amazing. The only thing I fear is the people living on this planet, not the planet itself. It has made it for billions of years and will continue along, with or without us.
