I don’t know to what lifestyle you are referring. In my part of the world homeowners associations are very common. They take care of snow-plowing, landscaping, and other things. I don’t have to get up at O’dark thirty to shovel the snow or buy mulch every spring —so I can’t complain. There are common sense rules. Again, it has to do with who is on the board and such.

in Albuquerque you do what ever you want pretty much…we have gated communities too, but there is generally far less pretense down here…if you want a goat, have a goat…no big deal
