Lots of rich countries currencies aren’t “the world reserve currency” and have no problem financing their deficits. As long as the US is a rich country with a freely convertible currency, this isn’t anything to worry about.

Yes, but we are also running a system in which massive deficits are unavoidable because we refuse to tax people at a rate commensurate with the benefits they receive from government.
