Yep, there’s usually a logical explanation. There’s still people around though that don’t look for the logic. They wouldn’t know the difference between an A-12 and an SR-71. They still think Area 51 was about UFO. I even ran into someone the other day that mumbled something about Area 51 and the Egyptian pyramids.

i had my 16” Meade refractor in the yard and was looking at a receding venus and got my eye fried by an incoming jet into PITT. low angle stuff happens.
