I disagree. IIRC only 36% of Americans are gun owners or live with a person who owns a gun. Of the 64% of Americans who do not own guns I betcha damn near every one of them would be happy to see guns gone or at least severely restricted. It’s assumptions such as you make that help keep our gun culture and these horrific massacres alive and well.

A good fraction of gun owners wouldn’t have any problem with military style guns being banned.
