Are you suggesting that we cut off the market to India and/or China because they pollute too much? That would destroy their economies though. Perhaps we should sell them or give them green technology? I always shudder when I hear someone tell a 3rd World person they are better off living in a mud hut with no water or electricity because it’s better for the planet. It’s not better for them or their children.

I am suggesting carrot and stick - we will help you get green and if you don’t we won’t buy. Honestly though, if American citizens were real about this, then they wouldn’t buy as much in the first place and then the Chinese and the Indians would have to change.
