My answer to you is: Fining unhealthy behavior is not appropriate, no, unless it represents a risk to others. For example, fining mountaineers who climb off the allowed areas is perfectly fine, as if they fuck up it’s going to require other people to risk their lives and well-being to save them.

Fining someone for a behavior that only hurts themselves is pointless.

Now, can you answer my question? Why did you take a comment about personal interaction and decide to start asking questions about governmental policy?
