Strong Evidence That Ron Paul Really Did Write Those Racist Newsletters

Well, I went back and read that article in Reason again, the one that claimed Lew Rockwell wrote Ron Paul’s newsletters, and it’s simply NOT convincing at all.

First, Rockwell absolutely denies writing the newsletters. Second, the source given by Weigel and Sanchez for their claim is someone from Ron Paul’s campaign. Credibility: zero.

Third, Ron Paul himself defended the content of the newsletters years ago, before he decided it was a liability and started dissembling about it. He’s lying. If he wanted to find out who really wrote them, he could simply ASK the people who worked on it. That is, if he really didn’t write it, and was seriously interested in laying the issue to rest.

He’s not interested in that. He’s just hoping it blows over with the help of useful idiots like Andrew Sullivan and E.D. Kain — who actually wrote that concern about the newsletters is “silly.”

Sure. It’s “silly” to point out that someone running for President is a flat out, ugly racist.
