The Swiss are deporting him to us; Woody Allen, David Lynch and some other director expressed the hope he’d be allowed to go free; Whoopi Goldberg took leave of her senses and said what Polanski did wasn’t “rape-rape”…the list goes on.

It’s pretty scary.

Is that confirmed, that the Swiss are handing him over to the US? I was under the impression he is going to fight extradition tooth and nail, so it is less than certain he’ll be back in the USSA (sic — but that was a great Elton John tour) anytime soon.
