Well, one reason for the failure to develop more forms of birth control for men is that women doubt they can trust men to use them. It’s easy enough for women to miss taking a pill or make another mistake; men don’t have the same personal incentive to prevent pregnancy because ultimately it isn’t their body that gets pregnant.

Whoa there. I have plenty of incentive not to get my girlfriend pregnant. I’m terrified that I “slip one past the goalie” to quote Seinfeld. In fact, I’m more obsessive about BC than she is.

Maybe jackass men don’t care about knocking a girl up because they will just take off. But please don’t lump us all in that category.
