This thread is a microcosm of the reason why this country is in such a mess.

Way too many people treat politics like sports. We have to root for our team and scream insults at the other side, no matter what the facts say.

Barack Obama was just doing what’s been expected of every American president, since oil was discovered under the sand of the Persian Peninsula. When you scream that Obama should be impeached, and his bow was worse than the bowing and scraping of every other American president, you’re just playing into the hands of the Saudis.

And meanwhile, the gas tanks just keep pumping, and the Saudis just keep getting richer.
