Except Franken was a professional comedian doing a schtick. Poor judgement but still done as comedy.

And the fact that, if it wasn’t a presumably well-packed commercial flight, you know that Chuck would have done much worse to Waters if he thought he could get away with it; all you have to do is remember what he tried to do to Charles by showing up at his old address.
