We’re breaking down into a definitional argument (the same one I have had with years with my son). You suggest “Hard” and “Soft” atheists, I include the Softies with us agnostics. Helps us with our membership stats.

There is no contradiction. They’re agnostic atheists. So I don’t have to actually choose. One would have to choose only to build a strawman version of atheism to then snicker at it.
