He won’t be. He was never considered a Bishop by the RC Church and he’s already stripped of his priestly functions ( he was originally ordained a priest by the RC Church - and that’s for life - even w/out being able to perform sacraments/Mass). If he repents and seeks forgiveness, theoretically he could go through lots of fiery hoops and be re-instated as a functioning priest - but certainly not as things stand now.

You seem to have a better handle on the Canon law. Can’t a Priest be defrocked? When you are defrocked do you become a lay priest or just a lay person? Is excommunication totally separate from being defrocked?

Still, as I have said before this person was never a RC Bishop and that simply cannot be said enough. If MSM reported on every RC Priest with some crazy theories there would be no room for any other news.
