Well Vanity Fair was never really on my reading list. And I will admit that English was not my favorite subject in high school. But I can say that I’ve more published articles on legal and moral issues in print (in an obscure political publication under a pseudonym) than Die Grosse Null even bothered to contribute while he was president of the Harvard Law Review.

So in my case the name-calling engaged in by Rollins has no basis in reality. Furthermore I actually read, on my own initiative, actual military and political history, not the fantasies of frustrated Marxists with delusions of mental and moral superiority.

I recognize as a fact of reality that as long as someone wishes to impose his will on another, or take something from another person by force, there will be violence. And as long as there are groups or nations that seek to impose their will on other groups or nations by force, there will be wars.

If Die Grosse Null were to actually carry out the policies that he advocates the result would not be peace, love, and happy chocolates on a national or worldwide scale, but more violence. With the possibility of Second Civil War or a Third World War.

Henry Rollins belief in his own mental and moral superiority is simply an illusion. Unfortunately it is an illusion that does not require the misuse of drugs to create.
