Dondero is not whitewashing Paul’s racist history. Quite the contrary. His comment is damning to Paul because it puts the whole moral and editorial responsibility for the racist newsletter on Paul. Intendendly so.

If he’s a “disgruntled former aide with a grudge,” why do you believe that what he says is credible? I maintain that he still has a very strong motive to dissemble on this issue, because he was involved with Ron Paul while it was going on.
