I always wonder where they get that idea from…certainly not our own history. One of the reasons they hated civil rights movements and labeled them “communism” was because they would not cave in the face of all their dogs, waterhoses, murders, church bombings, etc.

NOTHING they do works, especially not all their bluster. /Schadenfreude

Throwing in with or capitalizing on the shooting will have a slow effect of eventually marginalizing them. Only thing I keep wondering is, what takes their place.

The wingnuts now insist, of course, that the civil rights movement was not a left-wing movement at all.

Some of them, I think, also still think it was communist.
