Well, it might not be ungovernable, but the overwhelming majority of nations who suffer a military coup take a long time (if ever) to return to things like civil rights and democratic norms.

We don’t want a military coup. This needs to be solved through our civil institutions.

Not gonna work anymore; the’re too broken. Any chance we can get the UN to send those peacekeepers that were supposedly everywhere back in the 1990s?
