At the risk of sounding like a snob I agree. I’m sorry but we did warn them. We did try to tell them that Trump was a walking disaster. We did try to tell them that Trump wasn’t going to bring back their jobs. And they treated us like snobs. Yes, I’m from a well to do family but you know what, goddamn it, they’re the not the only ones who have been less well off. My own father had to declare bankruptcy when I was a kid. I saw first hand how tough the economy can be to a small business owner. Yes, I have a college degree, yes, I value cultural diversity but an elite? Nope.

Nope. You weren’t here. You didn’t campaign or send surrogates. You didn’t do diddly to win an election in a rural area. Period.

The majority of my town’s adults have college degrees. I am in the minority with only a high school diploma.
