My babysitter has a kid in high school who was diagnosed with ADD and placed on Ritalin when he was in elementary school. She said it helped him. I wasn’t going to just go with meds the first month of kindergarten. So far it’s been great. She’s in 3rd grade and reading on a 6th grade level. I just think she’s so smart they couldn’t grasp it.

I talked to our first-grade teacher yesterday. She said last year she had kids who couldn’t spell out CAT, and a kid who was reading “The Lightning Thief” on his own.
