Now, had he grabbed another adult and used them to shield himself? He’d have suffered a good bit of political fallout, but probably would have remained a viable candidate because of excuse-making about how “valuable” his life was.

In a world where there are children in rotting concentration camps and we have half the country giddy and gleeful about it, in a world where Trump’s boast of being able to shoot someone on 5th Ave. and not lose support seems more and more true by the day, I’m not sure even using a child as human shield would hurt Trump these days. At least not among those who weren’t already against him to begin with.

“Pro-Life” only extends to the fetus, after all. The children can go fuck themselves, apparently.
