No one is dismissing you. I am dismissing the notion that the overwhelming electoral success of Democratic candidates was somehow a proof that republican opinions should take precedence. It’s bizarre, but a number of people have argued something like that and are doing so even in this thread.

Understood, And I did not mean it, nor am I taking it, personally. Although I did use the pronoun “I” didn’t I.

Remember Bush and war fatigue where major factors in the last election. That’s over.

I don’t believe Republican opinions should take precedence, but they are, sadly, the best representatives that we conservatives have and as a conservative I’m just not willing to rollover and let Reid, Pelosi and Obama do whatever the hell they want.
