Video: Donald Trump’s Las Vegas Speech: “Unhinged, Rambling, Incoherent”

Politics • Views: 12,683

Donald Trump’s bizarre obsession with sharks made another appearance at his meandering, disturbingly unhinged speech in Las Vegas.

Vaughn Hillyard, NBC News Correspondent joins Nicolle Wallace on Deadline White House with reaction to Donald Trump’s most rambling and unhinged campaign speech thus far in the campaign, showing what happens when a teleprompter malfunctions and Donald Trump is left to his own devices to give a campaign speech.

For those just checking in there’s decent odds that the Judge and the prosecutor in the Young Thug RICO trial end up getting heavily sanctioned. I’m not quite sure about how ex parte exemptions work in Georgia but if they aren’t wildly different from the rest of the country then the judge here doing some absolutely insane shit that probably necessitates removal from the bench and a mistrial with prejudice.

This is amazing. The judge holds attorney in criminal contempt to force him to reveal what the attorney asserts is privileged information. Immediately the judge faces pushback on the law on this, calls for a 5 minute recess to “think about it”, and has now been off the bench for 40 minutes.

The EV batteries are DC and the end posts are protected so there is no real electrocution possibility when underwater. Now, damage the batteries so the coolent leaks and exposes the lithium, then expolson time but still not electrocution.

The better question is getting the window to go down when the car is under water, since as we know, that can cause deaths if not accomplished.

TL:DR New Apple OS will be able to create a TL:DR to place here with a single request. I’d love that.

______
One aspect of Apple and LLM - Apple uses ChatGPT now but has said it will set things up to allow ANY system to work. SO Elon should be happy since his version will likely be available. The user gets to choose (also negates any anti-competitive problems.

I see this as Apple NOT falling into the LLM hype. It is not spending billions on its own that will just be money thrown down the drain. When the LLM bubble bursts, Apple will not be out much money.

And it explicitly requires the user to positively agree to using the external LLM. I expect Apple’s TOS here will state that it is not responsible for the answer given as it has made sure the owner knows that this is an external service.

Apple has its own servers for complex Siri-stuff but I expect that this will not approach at all the level of complexity/computations required by LLMs today. Summarizing something that the owner has written is a different kettle of fish that asking a paper to be written from scratch. Just as having code written in Swift is different. IMHO.

Most of the other AI stuff it talked about are useful ML-driven approaches that are really not part of the current bubble, IMHO. I think it is likely that when all is said and done, Apple will have taken the best route to avoiding the AI bubble while still staying relevant.

The obvious result of Republican efforts to obtain medical information, especially menstrual data from women is of course to monitor pregnancy and attempts to block and punish abortions. But the overall long term agenda is the ability to acquire and sell medical information to insurance companies and enable them to deny coverage on an any criteria they wish.

What I’m reading is the reason she removed it was that Trump was only charged with illegal possession of classified documents (and obstructing efforts to get them returned) - not with illegal transmission of them.

So now filing new charges of transmission in NJ* would seem an appropriate way of dealing with it…

Student-loan borrowers enrolled in President Joe Biden’s new repayment plan may have just gotten some relief from legal challenges.

In March, 11 GOP state attorneys general filed a lawsuit in Kansas to block the SAVE income-driven repayment, arguing that the plan — which gives borrowers lower monthly payments and a shortened timeline to debt relief — goes against the Supreme Court’s decision last summer to block Biden’s broad debt cancellation plan.

The states requested that the court stop the SAVE plan’s implementation. Kansas District Judge Daniel Crabtree issued his response on June 7, and he said that only three states — South Carolina, Texas, and Alaska — “just barely” have standing to prove the SAVE plan will reduce their states’ revenues.

To prove standing, plaintiffs have to show that they’d be injured by the policy, that the injury can be directly traced back to the defendant, and that the relief they’re seeking would address those injuries. Crabtree wrote that the three states’ standing is “weaker than the one that prevailed” at the Supreme Court.

Voting tech company scores win in lawsuit against Fox News: report

Smartmatic, the voting company accused of manipulating the 2020 election tally for President Joe Biden, subpoenaed four Fox Corp. board members as part of its $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News.

The company notched a small court victory now that the move will force Anne Dias, Jacques Nasser, Chase Carey, and Roland Hernandez to produce critical documentation, The Washington Post reported Monday.

The board members are supposedly key to Smartmatic’s case alleging that executives at Fox not only were privy to repeated and unsubstantiated claims of election fraud made by allies of former President Donald Trump were bogus but were unwilling to move a finger to pull back on the perpetuation of them.

“The Board members witnessed Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch’s control of Fox News; exchanged relevant emails that Smartmatic has used in depositions and will mark as trial exhibits; attended meetings during and after Fox News broadcast the defamatory publications; and discussed the 2020 election and the competitive threats Fox News faced to its brand,” Smartmatic lawyers wrote to Judge David Cohen earlier this year.

“Accountability and responsibility do not stop with Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch,” the company’s lead attorney J. Erik Connolly, told The Post. “Smartmatic plans to pursue Fox’s board members as well to determine why they allowed the company’s most valuable asset, Fox News, to spread disinformation about the 2020 election.”

Smartmatic brought a lawsuit against Fox in 2021. It accused some of its personalities and guests (such as attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell) of undermining the company’s reputation as a trustworthy voting steward.

Fox has tried to suggest its network’s First Amendment-protected right to permit coverage of the election, and that happened to involve voting fraud questions.

It joined Dominion Voting Systems to debunk suggestions it had rigged the election against Trump.

In April, Fox News agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787.5 million to dodge a trial that likely would have exposed how the network promoted unsubstantiated stories that the 2020 presidential election was corrupted.

Notably, Fox won the right to file a counterclaim accusing Smartmatic of filing a defamation lawsuit to debilitate Fox News’ reporting.

“Such headline-grabbing claims are designed to serve as a warning to others to think twice before exercising their own free speech rights, lest the cost of doing so prove too heavy to bear,” according to Fox’s counterclaim.

Smartmatic tried to get the counterclaim tossed, arguing that its defamation case wasn’t frivolous.

In April, the voting tech giant already settled its defamation suit against right-wing news outlet One American News Network over false claims about rigged voting machines in the 2020 election.

And here we go. I’m guessing Hannity wants the yam to drop out of the debate because he’s about two weeks from drooling in a bucket, and in any normal family everybody at this point would be figuring out how to talk Uncle Donald into the car to take him to the retirement home.

Trump himself is incapable of complex thought and just wants to insult Biden to his face, and has no idea or concern about how he comes off to normies.

John Fetterman and his wife treated at hospital after car crash

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) and his wife Gisele were taken to the hospital after a car crash in Maryland on Sunday, reported the Daily Mail.

“Maryland State Police told dailymail.com the senator was driving a Chevrolet Traverse when he rear-ended a Chevrolet Impala in northern Maryland near the Pennsylvania and West Virginia border. According to authorities, the Fettermans were driving in Hancock, Maryland, when the crash occurred around 8 a.m. ET,” reported Jon Michael Raasch.

According to the report, the Fettermans did not suffer life-threatening injuries and have already been discharged. A passenger in the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital. No citations have been issued, and police are still investigating.

So this guy lives in Delaware, does a 2 hour each direction commute to NYC every day, costing between $170 and $200 dollars total, and says he’s making more money now than at his prior job after taxes.

foxbusiness.com

I’ve never forgotten a newspaper profile I read when I was in high school; a guy who lived in Big Bear, worked in Santa Monica, and commuted every day via Cessna. Some of his co-workers thought it was awesome, so they moved up there too and plane-pooled. But the other guys weren’t pilots, and because he didn’t have a commercial license, all he was allowed to charge them was split the gas.

I thought that sounded like a lifestyle to aspire to.

One of my religious observance incidents occurred during Episcopal Mass serving as an alter boy.
I was ~11 years old.
I was kneeling at the alter, and as i stood up the heel of my shoe got caught in the helm of my cassock, and I stumbled back and did what you might call a back flip over the alter rail. St Mary’s was a small church.
Everyone, including the priest froze and everything got quiet. I got up and walked back to where i continued with my part in the ritual at the alter and the service continued as nothing had happened.

[A] forest of birch and pine trees planted onto heath moorland in northern Scotland did not increase soil carbon stocks even after nearly 40 years in the ground. The researchers who carried out the study think that it might be because the influx of new trees upset the delicate moorland mycorrhizal networks already present.

“Replacing the complete set of fungi with other fungi has implications for long-term carbon sequestration in soil and biodiversity,” says Martinez-Suz. Her current project involves comparing samples from forests in low-pollution sites like northern Finland with those in heavily polluted regions like Belgium and the Netherlands. The fungi in polluted regions are less diverse, she says, and this might have a knock-on effect on how well those forests store carbon.

The major culprit here is nitrogen pollution, which enters soils through burning fossil fuels for electricity and transport, and through agriculture. An excess of nitrogen changes the composition of soil fungi, so that the fungi that are the best at retaining nutrients and pumping carbon into the soil decrease… .

Evan Hurst:

“…These people are desperate for society to respect them, to love them, to think they’re smart, to think they have something to offer, something to teach, something to add to the culture. They’re desperate for somebody to want to be like them, without being forced.

But nobody does. Nobody in America, absent some kind of coercion, chooses to be a bitter, hate-filled Traditional Values MAGA Christian, and as long as people have true agency, they’re unlikely to start. Nobody looks at these people and says, oh boy, I want what they’ve got. Their lifestyle is not attractive. By your fruits shall ye know them, and everybody can see those are some rotten-ass fruits.

Put another way: no liberal or progressive parent sits up at night worrying their kid is going to come home a right-wing Christian. But those parents spend all their time worrying their kids will come home gay or trans, or just “woke.”

The supremacy these people once had was never earned, it turns out, and that realization is painful.”

Roberts’ response to her said all the right words; hopefully he truly meant what he said and was not speaking as he did because he was aware of who she was. Well, she was there under her name. The only complaint there MIGHT be is if this Supreme Court gala was held in a two-party state. If it was in DC, then her secretly recording Alito and his wife was legal, as DC is a one-party district. (Makes sense to me, all the spies running around.)

The Captains of Industry (tm) are a better sort of person: That is conservative ideology. They don’t go to prison unless they are class traitors (or women in the case of Martha Stewart).

Former Lord Conrad Black was sent to prison for the crime of ripping off rich people. Donald Trump pardoned him in 2019.

Woman sues Cold Stone Creamery over lack of pistachios in pistachio ice cream

«”When consumers purchase pistachio ice cream, they expect pistachios, not a concoction of processed ingredients,” Duncan’s lawsuit reads.»

Is it nuts to assume a scoop of pistachio ice cream should contain actual pistachios? Or how about real butter in a dish of butter pecan?

Such weighty questions about a favorite summertime confection could soon be decided by the courts.

A federal judge in New York has given the go-ahead to a Long Island woman’s class action lawsuit that claims consumers are being duped by Cold Stone Creamery when they purchase certain flavors that “do not contain their represented ingredients.”

Lead plaintiff Jenna Marie Duncan purchased her serving of pistachio ice cream from a Cold Stone Creamery store in Levittown, New York, in or around July 2022. According her lawsuit, Duncan “reasonably believed that the Pistachio ice cream she purchased from defendant contained pistachio.”

But Duncan later learned after reading the company’s website there were no pistachios — a member of the cashew family — in the frozen dairy product, but rather “pistachio flavoring” that’s defined as a mixture of water, Ethanol, Propylene Glycol, natural and artificial flavor, Yellow 5, and Blue 1, according to the lawsuit.

“When consumers purchase pistachio ice cream, they expect pistachios, not a concoction of processed ingredients,” Duncan’s lawsuit reads, noting that competitors such as Haagen-Dazs use real pistachios in their ice cream.

Another right-wing state is experimenting with drugs again on people the state sentenced to die.

This time it’s Utah. They’re going to use fentanyl, potassium chloride, and ketamine.

Utah judge sets execution date in 1998 murder despite concerns over a new lethal injection cocktail (NBC News, June 11, 2024)

“The state has not provided any details about this novel procedure, including the drug doses. And the state says it will not revise its written procedures, making it the only jurisdiction to move forward with an execution without accurate written procedures,” Zuckerman said in a statement after the hearing. He asked for more information and time to consult with medical experts.

Dan Bokovoy, an attorney for the Department of Corrections, said the law didn’t require the agency to update the protocols. Daniel Boyer, of the Utah Attorney General’s office, argued that Honie had exhausted his appeal options and the judge’s duty was to sign off on the execution and set a date.

The initial airing of a Fox News interview with Donald Trump last week cut out the former president saying he may not declassify federal files about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who maintained close relationships with dozens of politicians, celebrities and other public figures before being found dead in his jail cell.

The discrepancy was first reported on Sunday by Semafor’s Max Tani, who found that the president’s June 2 interview on “Fox & Friends” only included the first part of Trump’s answer to host Rachel Campos-Duffy’s question: “Would you declassify the Epstein files?” In that airing, Trump replied, “Yeah, I would,” and the segment ended.

But Trump’s full answer played later on Will Cain’s Fox News radio show, revealing that he quickly hedged his response, Semafor found.

in 1976 i got caught going 86 on the pennsylvania turnpike. the speed limit was 55 in those days. i was actually going 92 but slammed the brakes when i saw the speed trap

being from NY and going so fast, i got patted down and put in a troopers car because they didnt think i’d send in the money later on.
i had no idea what this was gonna cost so i stuffed $1000 worth of amex traveler’s checks into my jeans.

i was 19 and terrified (first time pulled over)
my buddy had to sit on the shoulder with the car

we drove off the highway and into some small town to a prefab building. panic. a side door with a tiny sign said “clerk’s office”

only a girl behind a desk, they chatted.
then that i found out the fine was going to be….$15

yup. that was it.

Can I get mine with some pineapple too?

D.T. Restaurant in Queens, is serving up $14 piping-hot pies packed with the smelliest fruit on the planet - durian.

Inside the cavernous New York Food Court in Flushing, where the air was filled with the metallic clanging of cooks at stalls hawking Taiwanese-style steak and noodles, hungry diners were divided on the pungent pizza’s appeal.

“It is going to be stinky,” plumber David Wang, 55, warned The Post.

The spiky tropical fruit — which can grow to the size of a football — is considered a delicacy by many across Southeast Asia, owing to its custard-like texture and flavor recalling notes of caramel and vanilla, along with a slight bitterness.

At the same time, durian has garnered international notoriety for its wretched odor — a stench so overwhelming it has been mistaken for a gas leak and gotten the fruit banned from public transit and in hotels in Vietnam and Singapore.

“I don’t want to smell it too strongly — a little bit can give me a headache,” Yuam Bing Liu, 36, said of durian, before chomping down on one of D.T.’s pies during her lunch break.

The pie, she raved, had a light sweetness from the fruit and a “very rich” mouthfeel, thanks to broiled mozzarella cheese covering it.

Four American instructors from a small Iowa college were injured in a stabbing attack while on a teaching trip to China, their school and officials in both countries said.

Chinese police said Tuesday that a suspect had been arrested and that those injured were receiving treatment but not in life-threatening condition.

The rare attack on foreigners in the powerful security state comes as China is trying to repair ties with the United States and revive tourism to help boost a sluggish economy after three years of isolation amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Damn, that is amazing!

Maine’s beloved “Lobster Lady” just celebrated her 104th birthday on Thursday!

Virginia “Ginny” Oliver is the oldest lobster trapper in Maine.

She started catching lobsters off the coast of Rockland when she was a little girl and has no plans of retiring.

Ginny even has a book written after her.

Barbara Walsh, the author of the book “The Lobster Lady,” says Ginny told her she doesn’t feel old and even with a few more aches and pains, “nobody wants to listen to you complain!”

Ginny gathered with her family in Rockland to celebrate turning 104. On the menu was ice cream and chocolate cake, which is her favorite.

When asked if she plans on lobstering this summer, she said, “Oh, I’m going to go.”

And regardless of her age, Ginny said, “‘I’m still the boss,” at sea and on land.

That’s what I get. If I push the X button, that pop-up disappears and the puzzle is displayed. If I tap the histogram button, the pop-up reappears.

I’m not going to bother with it any more. It was an awful word anyway. I guessed the first letter correctly on the first try, then four more words before I got the whole thing (playing in hard mode).

Any update on the wreck on the Motor Mile?

Heard from my wife. There was a pickup involved. The scenario looks like the SUV that rolled over was going south on John King and the pickup was going east on the frontage road. As with most highway overpasses here, the car on John King had two lights, the one before the overpass and the one right after but before the service road. The lights are timed so that if you start from a stop at the first light, and go a moderate acceleration, the other light will turn green just when you get there. This means that the east bound service road light has turned red a second or so before.

There are two possible scenarios. Either the SUV didn’t go through slow enough and ended up in the intersection too early, or the pickup ran its red light. Having been at that light many times, I can tell you that the east bound drivers have a tendency of wanted to get through the “just turned red” light, so my bet would be on the pickup.

The end result was that the SUV was hit by the pickup and rolled. All of the passengers in the SUV, including children, survived. The pickup driver died.

Reading through Bluesky stuff, and today I learned that in addition to being granted an interview via videoconference, which most defendants don’t get, the former guy got to do his pre-sentencing interview with his defense attorney present… and that this is also a thing that most defendants don’t get. That is mind-bogglingly insane to me. It’s yet another way that the system oppresses the poor and favors the rich.

We should remember this. Yes, it’s fun to see the former guy going through some things. But the accommodations he is being afforded only serve to further highlight the inequity of the system. They are literally bending over backwards to avoid putting him through any of the things that, if one of us found ourselves afoul of the NYPD, they would not hesitate to put us through. When he says there are “two tiers of justice,” he is extremely correct in his conclusion, though his reasons for saying so are very far off the mark.

Raises a question in a pre sentencing hearing without a lawyer can you incriminate yourself or are you protected?

246
Nerdy Fish  Jun 11, 2024 • 4:57:27am

It is important to keep in mind that, while we can enjoy the system going after a bad guy we don’t like, the system is still fundamentally unfair. The ongoing case of Young Thug in Fulton County, Georgia, is proof positive of this. It’s a Fani Willis case where the prosecutor and the judge (!!!) took a witness into a closed-door meeting, under oath, and without the defendant’s lawyer present. (That’s an enormous no-no.) When the defense lawyer learned about this and complained in open court, the judge threw him in jail because the lawyer refused to reveal his source, citing attorney-client privilege. There’s a lot more to that story, two-part thread follows:

lemme break it down

so the judge had an ex-parte meeting with a witness and the prosecution without informing the defense. this, in layman's terms, is a no-no.

the defense found out about this meeting and asked, on the record in open court, (paraphrased) "qu'est-ce que le fuck?"

Since, in a pre-sentencing hearing, you are already guilty (pending appeal, of course, but still), I don’t think self-incrimination is in play. However, you can say all manner of stupid things that will end up making your sentence worse, and you have no way to know that at the time, because your lawyer is not there to advise you.

You might misunderstand me. I’m perfectly fine with them being generous to Trump. I want them to be that generous to everybody. Some criminals are genuinely bad people, yes; but all of them are people, and they all deserve some basic protections under the law. Sandy Hook survivors are graduating. Please read the whole thing.

NEWTOWN — In the beginning there were only flashes too disturbing for first-grade minds to reconcile — alarming things they had never heard or seen.

Bangs and loud popping that would not stop. SWAT teams with big guns in the hallway. Chaos in the parking lot. Strong grownups crying inconsolably. News that friends would never come back.

But as time passed and first graders who survived the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre put distance between themselves and that Dec. 14 morning when everything changed, an uncommon kind of closeness seemed to enshroud them. From a police officer at the door on Christmas day with gifts, to teachers who always anticipated their needs, to the solidarity of classmates who shared the trauma that day, survivors made their way through the seasons of childhood feeling embraced by a closeness that some of them recognize today as one of their saving graces.

what’s becoming more apparent is the justice system reflects the nature of the people. it’s a large enough sample to be representative

i used to teach ‘girlfriend’ scuba students that ‘your personality doesnt change when it gets wet’. meaning if your boyfriend’s an asshole at home, he’ll be an asshole on the dive boat and underwater

Except there’s nothing in the Constitution that requires it. Rather, Trump simply can intervene in federal cases as he wishes, and will do so again if he gets power.

Heck, I’m not sure he wouldn’t try to pardon those convicted or who took plea deals on state charges relating to his criminal conspiracies. That’s unprecedented legal grey area too. And by the time it’s adjudicated in the Seditious Six Court, it will be far too late. The damage will have been done.

While this is a tentative number, and the BLS will eventually issue updates, 272,000 is nonetheless way more than 180,000, and so the report was greeted with much surprise.

One might think that adding roughly 50% more jobs than expected would be a feather in the cap of the Biden administration. And yet, according to a solid majority of the headlines after the BLS’ report was released, one would be wrong. Here are just a few examples:

- The New York Times: Biden Has a Historically Strong Job Market. It May Not Be Enough.
- CNN: Here’s the ‘bad news’ in the ‘good’ jobs report
- Politico: Joe Biden’s labor market may be too hot to handle
- yahoo!finance: Was the May jobs report too good for Biden?
- The Hill: Biden’s Jobs Problem

We do not dispute that a good jobs report may not be the be-all and end-all. We also recognize that adding lots of jobs when unemployment is low could have some deleterious effects. And we know that jobs numbers are fungible, and that “full-time $100,000/year with benefits” and “part-time $10,000/year with no benefits” are both “one job.”

That said, we could not help but notice how negative the coverage was, on the whole. If the U.S. had added, say, only 90,000 jobs, would there have been a bunch of pieces laudatory of the administration? “Biden doing a great job of making sure employers don’t add too many jobs!” We tend to doubt it.

The only thing that will keep Convicted Felon Trump from being the Republican champion will be when he is room temperature and 6 feet underground. His mind turning into a feeble mush is a feature, with his handlers jumping and down with joy behind the scenes.

His recent ramblings are in fact good news to his handlers and those supporters who know what is really going on with their agenda and inside the campaign. The Republican Party apparatus will be using this convicted felon as a sock puppet to achieve every wet dream desire they have always wanted.

The things they have always wanted are retribution against liberals personally, forced inclusion into liberal circles and social media, lip service to anarchy-capitalism but actual real world state-capitalism and the ability to promote stochastic and direct terror and control over women, LBGT+, minorities and intellectuals, performers and artists.

If Trump wins his Cabinet and handlers will be making policy, not him. They will be dealing with the rubber-stamp Congress and SCOTUS, not him. They will be threatening allies and coddling dictators, not him. Trump will be trotted out before canned cheering crowds then heavily edited before the general public sees anything. The US will be a banana republic.

Darkest day in history
When someone invented property

Back when we were nomads, property what what we could carry with us on our migrations.

The notion of property as in something to be inherited only cam about when we started domesticating animals and farming land. That also turned women into property, as one did not want to passing one’s inheritance to an offspring that was not one’s own.

And that is what gave us the basis of what most religions consider “morality”.

“22” is a Neonazi code word, referring to the second letters of the alphabet - for Blut und Boden (blood and soil) - just like “88” is for “Heil Hitler” - the eighth letter of the alphabet.

Joe Biden didn’t do anything. He didn’t interfere in the DOJ prosecution of his son, and remained impartial observer, despite being keenly aware of his son’s plight.

Oh, you can be sure that before week’s end, we’ll be told that the speed of the trial and the deliberations are themselves “proof” that Joe interfered with the DOJ’s investigation. And I think Donald Trump’s got to quit whining, go to quit trying to divide us… We’re producing more energy than anyone before in this nation. We have the strongest economy in the world and we are beating China for the first time in decades. More people went to work this morning in America than any other time in our nation’s history. So, I got a message to Donald Trump and all of his negativity and whining: stop shit-talking America!”

It’s going to confuse the fuck out of the MAGAts when they go to their liberal relatives/friends/coworkers/etc and try to get a rise out of them by bringing up the Hunter Biden verdict…and get a “Yeah, he deserved it” or something to that effect. Oh, it’s pretty much inevitable that Pete “Legacy Hire” Doocy will lead the Beltway charge in pestering the White House about how soon Hunter can expect a pardon, and then when told it’s not happening go “No, really, how soon?” in the hope that pestering them will eventually lead to an outburst they can then milk for “Biden furious over son’s conviction” headlines.

Prosecution and the judge in this case went out of their way to suppress from the jury any suggestions that gun store owner and employees were crooked SOBs. They couldn’t be told that this case first came to the ATF’s attention when the owner “leaked” the documentation to the press in fall 2020. Or that the document has been altered not once but twice in order to cover up that the employees deliberately skipped over steps. Why did they skip over steps? Oh, that’s another thing the jury couldn’t hear: The employee conducting the sale rushed it along because they wanted to get Joe Biden’s son out of their shop and were willing to look the other way to speed along the sale.

Hunter Biden had Obama’s African birth certificate and Monica’s blue dress in Libya when he let the terrorists attack the compound in Benghazi. Now they are both destroyed!

We have a proper Italian ice cream parlor in our town run by a proper Italian. My kids grew up spoiled. I was with my daughter in the UK and we stopped at a beach side kiosk for ice cream. SHe took one taste and handed it back to me.

And she was right, the strawberry flavoring in it was clearly and chemically artificial, it tasted like Pepto-Bismol.

We had pat mitchells

It’s a replay of all 2016 BS, the baseless accusations of the “Clinton Crime Family” that were put under the microscope as soon as Trump controlled the DOJ…and yet went nowhere. They spent years and countless millions investigating Hunter in the belief that the trail would lead to “proof” that the Bidens are corrupt and up to their eyeballs in foreign money and yet all they could find were some penny-ante charges that they would dismiss as “process crimes” if one of the own were charged with them. The frustration is palpable, that no matter how many times and ways they investigate, they can never make their conspiracy theories into reality and the justice system doesn’t allow them to bring criminal charges because “we feel it’s true!”

THIS IS HUGE! Researchers at the University of Illinois have developed a new antibiotic that reduced or eliminated drug-resistant bacterial infections (MORE THAN 130 multidrug-resistant bacterial strains, in fact) while sparing the gut microbiome!

Let’s talk about that! 🧪🧵⬇️

I despise the ablelist statements of a physical disability (lack of teeth) as a proxy for “unintelligent,” especially in a nation where the ability to access good dental care is usually tied to how wealthy you are.

I refuse to be associated with those hateful racist people just because I lack most of my teeth.

Quite right: but, unfortunately, irrelevant: the whole purpose behind the incessant rightwing “Crime Family” conspiracy-flogging (no matter who the target is) is mainly to blacken the target’s/family’s public image (a tarnishing process the media, in general, gleefully goes along with).

Second Amendment fetishists are of two minds, neither working very well.

I said it in a previous thread, we need to now put forth a motion to drug test ALL gun purchase applicants before they can buy a gun. Watch their heads explode.
