Palestinians Murdering and Maiming Palestinians

Middle East • Views: 2,529

The terrorist group Fatah has released a list of 181 Palestinians murdered or maimed by the terrorist group Hamas.

Ramallah – Ma’an – A senior leader within Fatah slammed what he called “Hamas crimes against patriotic people” in the Gaza Strip Monday.

The comments come after a string of reports of human rights violations committed by Palestinians against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli war on Gaza.

The Undersecretary of the caretaker government’s Ministry of Prisoners Affairs Ziyad Abu Ein spoke out against the rights violations and accused Hamas of “terrorism,” and said they were preventing media outlets in Gaza report on their crimes.

“Our people badly need a free press capable of protecting the truth,” he said, noting that the truth was all that could counter the “terrorist procedures against patriotic Palestinians.”

“Patriotic” in this case means “devoted to the destruction of Israel.”

Despite the tax problems faced by high-level nominees, and the exceptions made to the no-lobbyists pledge, President Barack Obama’s spokesman is defending the administration’s ethical standards.

He’s posing a question that’s unanswerable. There’s no way to ‘prove’ that something that should have happened, didn’t.

So, in the final analysis, more non-combatant Palestinian civilians were killed by Hamas during the Gaza War than were (accidentally) killed by Israel.

When you combine this news story with the previous story which confirmed that the reported death toll during the war was exaggerated, you can only come to the conclusion that Hamas — and not Israel — are the real killers of Palestinians.

And yet, all across the world, leftists protested for Hamas, and the leftist MSM pilloried Israel.

Well, you got a gweilo here. Work for a business full of Chinese; officially, it’s English, but for most things, they do the Cantonese bit. Mandarin, which they all know, they don’t use, even the Mandarin speakers. (Bosses are from ROC, so I think that explains the linguistic preferences.)

We’ve seen this sort of thing before, and it’s timely, considering that this is February. On 14 February 1929 seven men were gunned down in a garage in Chicago, Illinois, in what became known as the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. The killing was done at the orders of Al Capone, head of the South Side mob. After the murders, a news reporter asked a noted local businessman if he had any idea who might be responsible. aid businessman’s response was, “Only Al Capone kills like that.”

The “businessman” was Bugs Moran, head of the North Side gang and Capone’s rival for control of the rackets in Chicago.

Deja vu’ all over again, IMHO.

cheers

Interesting. Not sure why the ROC guys would use Cantonese. Mandarin would be the natural choice for them, or Taiwanese. But the dialects are more similar to the native Chinese ear than to us foreigners. I can’t make out a word of Cantonese. My scuba diving group is almost all Chinese, mixed ROC and PRC, so I get a lot of practice, but when they want to go after me they use Cantonese, just as you say. I posted earlier today that….

There is a big difference between intentions and results. To me (and most conservative leaning folks), results are more important than intentions.

I posit that to liberals, intentions are more important than results….it’s the only way I can explain the love affair with Obama since he’s accomplished absolutely nothing of substance. He’s got no results, just flowery rhetoric on intentions.

This is another example. Intending to have higher ethics (like BHO) is more important than actually having high ethics (like GWB).

Your boyfriend is asking you to prove a negative, which is generally considered impossible. In other words, how can you prove that something which didn’t happen didn’t happen?

And in addition to the concrete examples you provided, one can also reason by analogy. Point out the horrifying AQ and other jihadist attacks that DID happen in Jakarta, London, Madrid, Istanbul, etc. etc. etc.; point out the repeated, vehement threats against us over that same time period; ask BDS-afflicted boyfriend “do you think the jihadists didn’t attack us because they were just too nice?”.

UN backtracks on claim that deadly IDF strike hit Gaza school

The United Nations has reversed its stance on one of the most contentious and bloody incidents of the recent Israel Defense Forces operation in Gaza, saying that an IDF mortar strike that killed 43 people on January 6 did not hit one of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency schools after all.

It seems that the UN has been under pressure to put the record straight after doubts arose that the school had actually been targeted. Maxwell Gaylord, the UN humanitarian coordinator in Jerusalem, said Monday that the IDF mortar shells fell in the street near the compound, and not on the compound itself.

Gaylord said that the UN “would like to clarify that the shelling and all of the fatalities took place outside and not inside the school.”

I watched the entire Presser and Gibby was sweating by the thrid questioner. It was GREAT to watch the leftist MSM start to eat their own…So, “claiming” a high bar is the same as an “actual” high bar? I am impressed at how they try to get over the bar and just cannot…

I wondered if anyone else noticed that. It was almost like the MSM wa actually asking tough questions for once, not a bad thing no matter who is POTUS.

It’s like Afghanistan on the southern US border

My best bud, the E-5, told me the other day that Mexico is well on its way to being a failed state. I asked, “Isn’t that a wargame scenario that the Pentagon played out, similar to one they did on Pakistan?”

His response was, “It’s been upgraded from ‘theoretical’ to ‘likely’. It’s no longer just an exercise scenario. “

His source was Fox News, BTW.

Apparently, the central government’s campaign against the drug cartels isn’t going well, largely due to corruption in law enforcement and the military, fueled by narcotraficante’ money. President Fox can no longer be sure that orders to units in such areas as Juarez will be followed. And officials who do not fall in line with the drug lords’ wishes are getting the “plombo e’ plata” treatment. In short, Mexico is starting to look a lot like Colombia did back in the Eighties.

Anybody know where Crockett and Tubbs are these days?

OT and possibly a stupid question, so please forgive it:

I have been challenged by my boyfriend to name one terror attack that GW prevented in his years as POTUS. I have a feeling we would never really know about it, though.

Thoughts?

/again, it may be a dumb question.

Would Al-Qaeda attacked us if they had the means and opportunity? (motive is a given)

Why didn’t they?

Clinton’s policy was that terror was a law enforcement problem.
1993 World Trade Center bombing
1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia
1996 Khobar Towers bombing
1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa
2000 bombing of the USS Cole

8 month into GWB’s Presidency 9/11
GWB makes turns terror from law enforcement to a WAR.
After 9/11….

Why hasn’t there been an attack? Change of Policy, which means GWB.

The full history of what we really did will be written in 25 years when the secret files are opened for historians.

What happened to the report that 35 had all been shot to death in one night during Operation Cast Lead?
JPost, Jan 3rd, wrote:

Fatah officials in Ramallah told The Jerusalem Post that Hamas militiamen had been assaulting many Fatah activists since the beginning of the operation last Saturday………sources close to Hamas revealed over the weekend that the movement had

The fucking government is relying on Fox News? Am I misreading that?

The E-5 is a civvie, now, like me. The difference is, he has the background to “read between the lines”. The original reports (some quoted here on LGF) that Mexico was in dire straits were inaccurate reports of the original “wargame” scenario being taken as the real deal. (We all know about those- wargame scenarios can get very surreal, as almost any even remotely possible situation has been gamed out at the Pentagon over the years. Think Tom Clancy’s Debt of Honor- a confrontation with Japan, unlikely as it sounds, was “gamed” in the Clinton years.) When he told me that the scenario was no longer “just” a “what if?”, my “uh-oh” circuit went on.

If the news from south of the Rio Grande continues in the vein I’ve seen in the WaPo and elsewhere recently, it’ll probably kick in my “oh s#!t” circuit. Trouble along that border we don’t need any time, but especially not now.

BTW, the E-5 predicts that if Mexico does go into “drug war” mode, the result will probably look a lot like Lebanon in the Eighties. With a side order of Somalia in the Nineties. The difference being that unlike places where there are ethnic or religious rivalries, the main driving force will be money and the desire to control the traffic that generates same (drugs). That’s a recipe not so much for civil war as “me and my buddies are gonna whack you and your buddies for trying to muscle in on our action, or because we’re muscling in on yours.”

Think Chicago (Capone and Moran) or New York (the Five Families) in the Roaring Twenties, just on a much bigger scale.

LGF is my home page, and I visit it pretty often during the day from work. As far as the BF, I don’t have him pegged as a BDS groupie; in fact, he seems to have a fairly open mind. His question was not posed in a defensive manner. It’s all pretty new now, and we’ll see what happens…

adjectives are used to modify (ie. good boy) so I think “fucking” in this case would be classified as an “intensifier”.
