Atlas Shrugs Still Raving About Nirth Certifikit, Cites 9/11 Troofer As Source

Blogosphere • Views: 7,824

Just when you think shrieking lunatic Pamela Geller can’t possibly get any more raving cuckoo insane, she posts another one of her fetid rants claiming that the birth announcements for Barack Obama published by Honolulu newspapers in 1961 were “forged.”

By the “C-I-A.” Yes, really.

With extra added crazy person capitalization: Atlas Shrugs: BARACK HUSSEIN BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT FORGERY …… THE FRAUD GOES ON.

When last we posted about Geller, her source was a neo-Nazi.

Her source this time: a drooling racist and 9/11 Troofer.

Unfrakingbelievable. Pamela, you're doing far worse than tilting at windmills, you're destroying what little credibility you have left by engaging in trooferism and relying on the ravings of lunatic minds to further conspiracy theories on Obama's birth certificate.

Not so. It's this kind of linkage that will simply increase her popularity and keep her website traffic moving up and up.

We've seen it happen to preachers, politicians and populists, over and over. They become hooked on the cult of personality that is building up around them and eventually they go around the bend, like Pam has done.

And logic and reason be damned.

Well, I saw those contemporaneous Honolulu birth announcements on microfiche in a very obscure library. The odds that the CIA went around the entire country after Obama got nominated in -- what? -- August of 2008, and spent enormous amounts of manpower creating forged substitute microfiches of every 47-year-old edition of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser in every library from Hannibal Missouri to Cucamonga California are, shall we say, vanishingly small. For what purpose? Why would the CIA specifically want Obama to get elected? (Remember that I saw the microfiches in September and October -- BEFORE Obama got elected.) Sheer crazytown.

A point here. I looked up the birth announcement in The Honolulu Advertiser that so much is made of in the article. It exist. Published about 8 days after Obama's birth date as given. So all the stuff at Atlas is BS. I went to the micro files in our library.

Obama could end this simply by providing a copy of his BC. Why he does not is a mystery. Clearly there is something he finds upsetting about it. Likely trivial.

Obama school registration from Indonesia.

It says he is a Muslim, and an Indonesian citizen.

Now, I realize that the MSM tried to explain away this document -- to me, unconvincingly -- but I was never quite sure how well-distributed it was. Did the average American get to see this document, but accept the lame explanation for it? (I.e. that the religion and the citizenship applied to his father-in-law, not him, which I simply laugh at.) And no I'm not looking for evidence of cocaine use or anything like that. It just seems to me that the POTUS and Leader of the Free World - or rather the candidate for that position, owed it to the voters to make those records available. After all, after Obama comes Biden and - OMG - Pelosi and if he's suffering from any condition that would account for his "exhaustion" and need for frequent short "time off", we ought to have know about it.

I, too, think he should release his medical report.

Why would a woman who wants to be taken seriously as a professional ever promote pictures of herself in a swimsuit? Of course, we have plenty of substantive reasons not to take her seriously, but really, the cheesecake doesn't help.

From what I understand, if your birth father is Muslim, you are automatically Muslim. Kind of a take on if you are born to a Jewish woman, you are automatically Jewish.Typical Islamic bastardization of Judeo-Christian tradition. As for the Indonesian citizenship, I don't think it was ever resolved one way or the other.

On the other hand, I have all this stuff littering my hard drive from the election that I never uploaded due to time constraints. For example, I'll upload this now and ask all of your opinions:

Obama school registration from Indonesia.

It says he is a Muslim, and an Indonesian citizen.

Now, I realize that the MSM tried to explain away this document -- to me, unconvincingly -- but I was never quite sure how well-distributed it was. Did the average American get to see this document, but accept the lame explanation for it? (I.e. that the religion and the citizenship applied to his father-in-law, not him, which I simply laugh at.) Or was it simply successfully suppressed?

Is it worth making a zomblog posting out of, way after the fact, or is it a dead issue?

I'd keep it as 'unexplained oddities' - which would not really have affected the outcome of his election (unfortunately, thank you, MFM!).
I think such a collection is worth having and hanging on to - because once he's out of office, it will be extremely important to research what was and was not important in how he got there.
All the holes in his meagre paper trail, for example, are also good evidence for connivance somewhere.

So - hang onto it, but its only zomblog-worthy in a collection of other oddities to do with his election.

I don't get all the fuss between Charles and Pam.

First of all, both Charles and Pam have history of voicing strong concerns and opposition to Islamic supremacy in America and the world, support for Israel and individual liberties, and slam moonbat liberals, Code Pinkers and the blame-America crowd.

Essentially, they are both pro-Israel. Right? Pam is an American Jew, right? Charles support the Jews and their right to a national homeland, right?

And yet, Charles draw the line on the 9/11 trooferism and Obama birth certificate fuss. Charles called her "cuckoo insane" on those positions, in spite of the fact both of them stand strongly against Islamic supremacy, hatred against Jews and Americans, Israel and the United States.

Why backstab and slander your likewise ally in the face of the greatest threat to America and freedom? Is that how you wanted America's enemies to divide and conquer us because of Charles' and Pam's differences on the blogosphere? I'm still puzzled by all of this infighting among likewise allies (specifically on the position against Islamic supremacy and Jew-hatred, etc).

re: #89 Catttt

I think that is a dead issue. A school official was interviewed by the press, and the school was basically secular - they actually spoke to a former headmaster. Also, O's mom sent him to Catholic school also.

Additionally, President O accepted Jesus into his life as an adult, so as far as I am concerned, he's a Christian now.

Oh, I know all that. I'm not saying it was a madrassa. I'm not saying he is still a Muslim. It's just that Obama's team and the MSM claim he was NEVER a Muslim, ever. Which this document contradicts. I'm also not claiming he isn't an American citizen -- he obviously is -- but perhaps that at one point he had dual citizenship -- Indonesian and American. (Which this document also indicates.)

The key is to not overstep -- to make claims and jump to conclusions beyond what is documented. All I'm saying is that in 1968 (or whenever this is from), Obama was considered a Muslim and an Indonesian citizen. But it's quite obvious that by the time he entered Punahou and his mom dumped Soetoro, Obama had forgotten all about being a Muslim.

Or all of the supporting of neo-Nazi's she's done - or, for that matter by saying that everyone in Europe was a collaborator after the Nazi's took over, evidenced a degree of ignorance that's just intolerable - especially to a number of LGFer's who lost family members in the resistance to the Nazi's in Europe?
Have you not read where Charles' has said, over and over and over "NO Fascists in my foxhole"?
But all of that is irrelevant to this issue: She is so wrong on this she's an embarrassment to the right wing or even center wing of the blogosphere.

Maybe because Charles is not interested in allies who present terribly flawed research, maybe because Charles is not interested in allies who have very public connections to racists, bigots and white nationalist, maybe because Charles is not interested in allies who seem more interested in grooming her public image then her imagined validity in the scheme of things.

Maybe it because Charles is interested in the truth. Are you?

I am interested in the truth but not at the expense of being distracted by such infighting among those who are standing up against Islamic supremacy and fighting terror.

Heh. I wasn't ever all that freaked out by Hillary, to tell the truth. I wish the Hannities of the world had worked a little less hard at demonizing her for the past couple of years, actually.

Kind of like I wish Rush Limbaugh had not demonized John McCain for the last decade.

Don't think they were specifically targeted because of their rank.

Well, now that BHO is safely ensconced in the White House, the sinister truth can be told. Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii. He wasn't born in Kenya, either. He was actually born in... wait for it... Moscow! The love child of a senior Politburo member and a Kenyan exchange student at Moscow State University, he was born in a secret hospital under the Kremlin. The KGB, recognizing the unique asset at their disposal--a half-black, half-white child, who could imagine such a thing!--quickly inserted a false birth announcement into the Honolulu Advertiser, and bribed Hawaiian state officials into creating a counterfeit birth certificate.

After undergoing basic training in espionage and subversion at a secret KGB school somewhere in Siberia, the toddler Obama was delivered by nuclear submarine to the Hawaiian islands sometime in late 1963 (how does that match up with your JFK assassination conspiracies), and delivered ashore by Spetznaz operatives in a small boat. There, he was turned over to a deep cover Soviet mole by the name of Stanley Ann Dunham, who commenced the lifelong project of grooming him to someday take over the reins of the world's most powerful democracy. Now, more than 40 years later, this devilishly clever, patient, and insidious plot has come to fruition, and only a brave band of seemingly insane bloggers and conspiracy theorists can be trusted to reveal the truth!

Yep, well, now I know from where you are coming from. Go for it, you'll have good company with your bigoted "friends." You just summed up the way Robert Spencer feels about the issue...

"Robert, can you answer one simple question for me. This would help a lot in deciding what is really going on here. Which European political parties do you UNCONDITIONALLY condemn because of their proven ties to racist nationalism?" (Walter L. Newton email to Robert Spencer sent on Friday, November 07, 2008 1:16 PM)

And his answer...

"Actually, I am fighting jihad, and have no interest in or intention to investigate these groups. Insofar as they are fighting jihad, I applaud them. Insofar as they are doing anything else, my endorsement is not implied." (Robert Spencer email answer to Walter L. Newton sent on Sat 11/8/2008 10:39 AM)

I think there may have been some debate as to whether his listing as a Muslim was not just a listing of his step-dad's nominal faith, as you mentioned. I am almost certain that was why he was put down that way. His mother was not religious - and wouldn't she be considered Muslim if her husband was, as far as Indonesia was concerned?

President O mentioned in one of his books that his mom treated religion as a cultural thing, and she exposed him to many different religions in a basic way (as an anthropologist would). He had a few hours a week of religion classes in both the Muslim school and the Catholic school.

From the creator of the petition:

HONOR MURTHA?
Thursday, March 19, 2009 5:15 AM

Congressman John Murtha was recently awarded the Department of the Navy's highest public service award for non-employees by the Secretary of the Navy. This is an outrage. As you probably know, John Murtha has been the worst of a bad lot in Congress who exploited those serving in combat for political purposes. He was the most outspoken member of Congress in aggressively attacking Marines as "cold blooded killers" who "murdered women and children" after the Haditha incident in November, 2005, BEFORE AN INVESTIGATION WAS EVEN CONDUCTED. In fact, he slandered the Marines to such an extent, and with such disregard for the truth, that one of them sued him for libel (rumor says there's another libel suit to come soon). It is inconceivable that the Secretary of the Navy would give such an award to such a man, yet it happened not two weeks ago with muted response. I have created an online petition to express our outrage and disgust and I'm asking you to join me in signing it. Please use the link below to visit the petition and sign it; it will take less than two minutes. Additionally, please send it on to everyone you know who cares about the reputation of our active duty military and combat veterans, we can't allow this to pass by unnoticed.

Additionally, please send it on to everyone you know who cares about the reputation of our active duty military and combat veterans, we can't allow this to pass by unnoticed.

re: #228 the_flying_pig

Sharmuta, please don't come to conclusions about me. I have no problem with Charles' effort of exposing fraud and deceit by other bloggers and mainstreamed media pundits. He's doing a great service to all of us and to the blogosphere.

My initial concern is looking at Charles' and Pam's similar positions against Islamic supremacy, anti-semiticism, bad media reporting, and the likes. I know Pam did attacked Charles on other issues that Charles strongly disagreed with. The fact of these two influential bloggers attacking each other in the blogosphere while maintaining similar positions that I said previously is worrisome. The Islamists and blame-American crowd would love nothing but see both of them drag into the dirt and duke it out for all of us to see. This is clearly a divide-n-conquer strategy.

Like I said again, the Devil is really in the details.

I think this is a situation where you need to take an a priori, rather than an a posteriori, approach. There are basic moral truths at issue here that anyone with a lick of sense can see. Sure, you will find empiral evidence of things you agree with in Pam's voluminous posts, but much that is in there is also rancid. If you look at the big picture, she is throwing caution to the winds morally speaking - not to mention logically.

Several times, he says Pamela will forward e-mail to him, maybe, if you donate or, Pamela will post his results... maybe, if you donate. Sounds like Pamela is in a financial mess, and we won't have to listen to this garbage at least from her much longer. This president has given us plenty of real ammo and issues to deal with. The joke was since 0bama's parents and siblings were not his that perhaps he was an android, and alien reptilian shape shifters got mentioned too. SixDegrees was there and was making a joke about the previous joke.

Actually, it was a reference to that King of all Kooks, David Icke. Who believes that every conspiracy theory every offered, by anyone, anywhere, is absolutely true, and whose own website attempts to tie them all together into a grand Uber-Conspiracy.

Prominent is his conviction that the earth is ruled by the Illuminati, who in turn are reptilian aliens capable of morphing their appearance to pass as humans. He provides proof that these aliens are posing in seats of power - the British Royal Family (Diana found out about them, and they murdered her in a repto-alien feeding frenzy); Washington, Jefferson, and most other American Presidents; most of the royal families in Europe; pretty much all Masons...

Here's a sample to get everyone started learning The Truth: [Link: www.davidicke.com...]

The sheer volume of the site is astonishing.

And yes, this is the David Icke - former soccer star. Apparently, taking too many header shots incurs a substantial cost...

The petition is just an attempt to bring public pressure to bear on the Navy to rescind the award. It has no legal force. That's very different from a petition to, say, get a third party candidate on the ballot. The latter must be signed only by voters eligible in that district. Berg was asked by someone calling in about the Honolulu Advertiser birth notice.

Berg then lied for all to hear and claimed that the Advertiser was no more than some local neighborhood ad circular in Honolulu and that anyone could pay to put a birth notice in it.

Of course, the Advertiser is Hawaii's largest daily newspaper. Not sure why Berg would expose himself with such a stupid lie.

I don't listen to Savage much, but Savage is losing it if he's putting a guest like Philip Berg on his show. That's Alex Jones "Prison Planet" cuckoo territory.

Here are some key pieces of Gregg's comments:

"I don't think [Obama] was elected to bankrupt the country," Gregg said. "Basically if you run up deficits at this level — where you're doubling the national debt in five years and tripling it in 10 years and then doing virtually nothing to bring it down in the out years — and you don't address the fundamental underlying problems that's driving the cost of spending, which are the cost of the major entitlement programs as a result of the retirement of the baby boom generation, you're going to pass on to our children a government that simply can't be afforded."

Gregg says he worries that unlike people of his generation, current young people won't be able to send their children to college or buy homes.

"The burden of taxation will be so extraordinarily high to maintain the cost of the retired generation that they simply won't be able to have a high quality of life," Gregg says.

"The simple fact is that under our system we have an extremely progressive tax law right now, where 85 percent of the taxes are borne by the top 20 percent of [income-earning] people, which is more progressive than occurred under the Clinton years, where about 82 percent was borne by the top 20 percent," Gregg explains. Short version....
Sen. Gregg says Obama budget will bankrupt US

The explanation given for Gregg's withdrawal is inaccurate. He pulled out as Commerce Secretary when he was told that Commerce would not be in charge of the upcoming census under his stewardship - that his post would be token, completely gutted of real power, with that power being handed off to Rahm Emmanuel. There may have been disagreement over economic policies as well, but this was clearly the real reason for his withdrawal, and rightly so.

WASHINGTON – The top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee says the Obama administration is on the right course to save the nation's financial system.

But Sen. Judd Gregg of New Hampshire also says President Barack Obama's massive budget proposal will bankrupt the country.

How can it be both? If it's going to bankrupt the country, how could that possibly be the right course to save the nation's financial system?

re: #256 newsjunkie_ky

I bookmarked it. To me it is another page in the long line of pages that have never been shown to the public. Medical records, school records, writings (other than his books which he may or may not have written), or student loan repayments. All of this combined is what troubles me. He is hiding something and had the msm not been so tingling about him we would know who sits in the Oval Office.

We have to be very careful to distinguish between:

a. Facts about Obama which might have hurt him a few percentage points during the election, but which in no way technically disqualified him for the job.

b. "Facts" about about that would actually have legally prevented him from becoming President.

There are plenty of things in category "a." So far, there is absolutely no evidence for anything in category "b." The problem is, so many people are unconsciously conflating the two categories.

The election is OVER. So unless anyone can prove that Obama cannot legally be President, all our whining about the MSM hiding damaging facts about Obama are futile.

Is Obama a communist? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say Communists are ineligible to be President.

Is Obama a former Muslim? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constituion does it say former (or current) Muslims are ineligible to be President.

Is Obama the bastard child of some unnamed father? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say fatherless children are ineligible to be President.

Is Obama a communist? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say Communists are ineligible to be President.

Does Obama have mysterious medical problems? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say people with medical problems are ineligible to be President.

Did Obama get bad grades? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say bad students are ineligible to be President.

Did Obama benefit from affirmative action and not replay his student loans? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say affirmative action loan defaulters are ineligible to be President.

Did Bill Ayers ghostwrite Obama's first book? IRRELEVANT. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say people with ghostwritten books are ineligible to be President.

Now, we may be angry that these and many other issues were either never pursued by or actively suppressed by the media DURING THE ELECTION, but the depressing reality is that they DID ignore and suppress these story ideas, and as a result Obama got elected. Pointing them out now won't get him unelected. Too late. The MSM got away with it.

Yet this fact is so upsetting to some people, that they are casting about in desperation for stuff in category "a," which would disqualify him from being President. But, unfortunately, there's nothing to be found.

Is he over 35 years old? Yup.
Was he born in the United States to an American citizen -- which would automatically make him a natural-born citizen himself? Yup.

That's it. Game over. Those are the only two qualifications required.

Ann Dunham was an American citizen. 100% confirmed. She lived in Hawaii in 1961 and gave birth to a son there. 100% confirmed. And that's all you need to know.

I'm thinking there's a long-term versus short-term clause missing in there somewhere. Stimulus and tax breaks are time-honored ways of addressing recession; stimulus that comes at the expense of quadrupling the deficit (and beyond, apparently) that won't be paid out for four or five years is a whole 'nother thing entirely. It's political "stimulus" for one particular party, and is economic suicide.

Probably four-fifths of the stimulus bill could be recalled, and the final result on the economy would be somewhere between the same and better.

However ...
Once he's left office, there will be all the hagiographies written - and all these little unsuitable facts, which right now are still available here and there for people to find, might somehow vanish from the face of the earth. Thats not inknown.
For that reason I think its wise to hang onto all these snippets - they certainly would not have prevented him from running or from being elected - and they may only have cost him half a point here or there, so they certainly would not have changed 'the course of history' - but they may, afterwards, help to shed light on why and how, and perhaps on who all might have helped him ...

The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend.

And if I were a Senator, a move to a Cabinet position, regardless of party, would be a step up in power - assuming the position hadn't been emasculated, as this one was. Given Cabinet positions that still held real power, staffing them with Republicans would be a boost for the GOP, not a detriment.

Take all the real power away, though, and you make those holding such positions mere tokens.

There's a long history of reaching across the aisle to fill Cabinet posts. Frankly, I was heartened to hear of it's return - until I heard that the position would be gutted in favor of rank partisanship. I would very much like to see a return to the more genteel conduct evidenced, for example, under Reagan, where he and Tip O'Neill would get together for drinks at the end of the day, putting aside their party differences once the clock hit five. The ongoing partisan rancor now so prevalent in Washington is corrosive and detrimental. Sadly, it shows no sign of abating anytime soon.

Why should he? I'm flipping through the Constitution here, and it doesn't seem to mention anything about these topics.

If it drives his opponents around the bend, he very likely will never release them, since he is not required to.

It's only recently in American history that we expect total disclosure of every microscopic detail of a President's life. Think about FDR, JFK, LBJ, etc.: They all had damaging secrets of various kinds were were never "released" or mentioned until long after the fact.

No- Pam is doing whatever she can to get attention for herself. There is obviously a market out there for conspiracy theorists- a certain amount of people out there are always going to eat that garbage up. What she's done in seeking attention for herself with these people is lose all her credibility in the process. And this is just the Nirtherism. We haven't even touched on the rancidness of aligning with fascists.

That is what the whole blogosphere is about: bloggers always try to find ways to draw attention on whatever they preach about, drawing a certain audience into them, hoping to gain supporters or attracting critics. There are always markets for these kind of things. People will believe anything they set their minds to it, credibility, fact or accuracy be damned. We all founded out what kind of readers the Daily Kos usually attracted in the last three major elections, did we? I never did believed all the BS from the 9/11 troofers before I joined LGF and still do not believe them now (they still ignored glaring evidences of damaged airline parts and wheels founded at the Ground Zero).

Dunno - when they wrote that the theatres on Broadway were dimming their lights, showing respect to Natasha Richardson, the actress who died after her skiing accident, I thought that was another sign that we're getting into this Victorian celebration of 'grief'.
That is not about grieving as such - but about shwing that one ahse the proper 'feeeelings'.
We can see that in the proliferation of two- and three-minute silences for whatever the last victims of the latest outrage were.
Its frankly disrespectful to all those who died in WWI and WWII, whom we remember on Nov 11 in those two minutes of silence.

He was going to be the token Republican that Obama could role out to show how "Bipartisan" his administration is. I disagree with you about that cabinet job being a promotion. It's a lateral move at best. Something he can put on his resume. He wields more power and influence as a Senator. The only real job the Sec. of Commerce has is the Census. I do not know enough about Sen. Gregg to pass judgment. I guess he thought he would have an actual influence on the Census and that is why he initially agreed to take that job? You may be right there.

I wish both sides showed actual signs of bipartisanship too. The Dems actually had it good with Bush. For as many things he "rammed down their throats", he offered actual cooperation in many areas to the Democrats. Way more than our current President is offering the Republicans. "He won", you know.

Yes, that's my point; without power to oversee the census, the position became utterly meaningless and no more than a token appointment. Hence Gregg's withdrawal - and rightly.

Had the position actually retained it's traditional scope, it could have been otherwise, and would have been a truly bipartisan gesture. It also would have signaled that the views of the opposition were, if not embraced, at least welcomed.

With the emasculation of the position, none of that was possible, and accepting it would have been meaningless.

Right- which is why she didn't remove the article that originated with a nazi.

She has repeatedly spit on a good man, called for him to be publicly flogged- then when she got outraged when there was a call for Mr Wilders to be flogged, she was rightfully called a hypocrite. So what did she do? She removed the post being outraged by the call for Wilders to be flogged. She's not a very good ally to Mr Wilders, imo, if she could so easily delete a post where her outrage was warranted just so she could leave her post up about Charles. to St. Michael

Police Officer's Prayer to St. Michael

Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police,
who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises
of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional
eyes on your earthly force.

Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and uncanny flair for
investigation and wise judgement.

Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and
law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores,
strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations.

You know, Saint Michael, from your own experiences
with the devil that the police officer's lot on earth is not
always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so
pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the
devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration.

And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your
heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the
throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all
the people. Amen.

The hospital would not do that. They send the info off to the applicable local or state registrar. The data is stored, and short- or long-form certifed copies are issued when requested. They are more or less standardized, to make it easier for the Census Bureau to keep track. Short-form certified copies are perfectly legal, and that was already released. It had the pertinent info on it, and it was sufficient to show that President O was born in Hawaii.

re: #445 Sharmuta

BTW- That wasn't directed at you so much as others. She tossed an ally, a man she's promoting as a viable voice against islamization in europe, under the bus so she could carry on with her vendetta against Charles. That should speak volumes to anyone who thinks she's a serious counter-jihadi.

While I still think that she is so motivated by her fear that she is willing to cut any deal with any devil in order to fight her war, let's not forget that everything Pam does is all about her. That's the central focus.

As Charles said, the fact that more center and right bloggers are giving Pam a pass with her absurd claims and acceptance of sources / allies that taint our entire effort, is beyond pathetic. Unless we want to get dragged into that same cesspool of neo-nazis, racists, and pinheads, we have to continue to expose Pam's lunacy and keep our own morals intact.

It might hurt - the adressees of that petition might say its worthless because tehre are non-US citizens voting on it.
Better be careful - I know how these bastards think!

Trust me. No one cares. No one will pay the least bit of attention to this petition other than the people who are signing it.

You know, anyone can put up a petition for anything at PetitionOnline. And as long as you clear your cache in between you can usually sign them with as many phony names and email addresses as you want. Dozens. Hundreds. Not that I'm suggesting that anyone has done that on this one, of course. But no one takes them seriously, and for good reason.

454 hazzyday  Sun, Mar 22, 2009 12:34:07pm

Pamela Geller works on her emotional gut only. Which is to say anger makes her wrong. She ended up sending out accusations that LGF was destroying the anti-jihad movement by not supporting a conference in Europe that has some unsavory dining partners. She should have just kept her mouth shut and accepted the disagreement. But she revealed herself in her subsequent vitriol and lack of balance. A sensible person would be uncomfortable being close to her.

Is Geller the loon who said Malcolm X was Barack's Dad?
Another idiot who used Hal Turner, the Neo-Nazi, as a legit. source was leftist journalist/blogger Dave Lindorff, a Counterpunch regular contributor. For a Daily Kos diary a couple of yrs. ago about imminent Martial Law. Claimed turner as the sole source for a "Secret Pentagon document, " overruling the Posse Comitatus Act.

When Obama released his short form copy, the Nirthers almost immediately began to claim that it simultaneously proved nothing and was a forgery.

If he releases the vault copy, We'll hear much the same things. many of the people pushing this are Truthers. You cannot reason with these people once they get a conspiracy in their heads.

The real question isn't why doesn't he release that form, but why should he?

He's already proven his Natural Born Citizenship to the satisfaction of fifty state Secretaries of State and the vast majority of the American people - well more than the fifty-three percent who voted for him. As I noted, he can't satisfy the hardcore Nirthers, and satisfying the idle curiosity of people who post comments on conservative blogs is simply not enough.

459 Render  Sun, Mar 22, 2009 12:52:08pm

So this is their "counter-jihad?"

Why am I so less then impressed?

All that time and creative energy wasted on fools gold, fools errands, and not one real terrorist or jihadist mentioned. Not one word about the war, which by the way is currently at a crucial historical turning point.

The CIA? They're very busy right now, way too busy to waste huge amounts of time, large numbers of field agents they don't have, and a huge amount of their limited black budget on a massive and massively risky operation inside and all across the only nation the CIA is forbidden by law to operate within. Sheer lunacy, diagnosable.

Next step, Fail Blog, pushing hard for epic status.

"Breaking news?" No Pammy, yer just broken.

I notice you used tinyurl for the links to those nutbar sites. Does that prevent tracking back to this site?

How can you tell this? I clicked on the link and looked at the URL, but can't see a thing that would let me know this? I'm curious about it. And, I guess Charles must have to add it somehow to the link so that the link works. I wish I knew what I was talking about!

Zombie, if you are still here, tell me whether that disgusting street fair is still being held this year. I mentioned it to a friend and he couldn't believe it. The actual truth of what is Obama is bizarre enough.

We need to concentrate on what his is dong more then what he may or may not have been.

While they are concentrating on the extreme, the rug is being pulled out from under us.

Ah, the heart of the matter right there. Truth is stranger than troof. And far worse.

465 Lee Coller  Sun, Mar 22, 2009 1:11:46pm

It amazes me that every time Charles posts one of these Nirth Certifikit threads one more two more nirthers come out of the woodwork and ask the same tired old questions that have been asked numerous times before on previous nirther threads. In this case we have "pat" above, who has posted 17,870 comments and 1,538 links on LGF, Do mean to tell me that he/she/it hasn't seen the previous twenty or so threads on this subject that have answered those "why doesn't he" questions over and over?

Then we have Kobe, registered since August 3rd of 2007 yet has only posted 12 comments (four of them on this thread) raising the same questions. Has he/she/it really simply been ignoring LGF all this time and decided to stop in for an annual visit? At the time of writing this kobe has a negative count of -31 on this thread alone, yet an overall karma of -20, which means that prior to this thread with 8 comments had a karma of 11, a pretty good ration. My bet, someone's sock puppet.

So Nirthers, did you really miss all those old threads and are asking the same tired old questions, or are you simply being childish trolls, trying to show people how "smart" you are?

The hospital is not legally authorized to release the record. The State of Hawaii and Barack Obama are the only two entities legally empowered to end this trumped-up "controversy", and Hawaii has already done so when the short form was released.

re: #57 zombie

Is it worth making a zomblog posting out of, way after the fact, or is it a dead issue?

in my opinion, it is relevant
and could/should be posted

but unless John McCain brings it up (and claims the Presidency)
nothing will happen

and then we'd really be the laughing stock of the world
no better than a third world shit hole

then again, we're bankrupt
and 0bama is laughing

/sigh

477 scrubjay  Sun, Mar 22, 2009 8:10:19pm

I don't see why Geller would get all worked up about a classified ad announcing Obama's birth. If the CIA had planted it they surely would have included that he was born in Hawaii. The announcement only tell you as much as you would know from looking at Obama's bare chested photos showing that he has a navel and therefore that he was born. Would the CIA be so stupid as to fail to include that critical assertion if they were going to bother to plant it?

478 Sharmuta  Sun, Mar 22, 2009 9:21:35pm

re: #477 scrubjay

I have to wonder- why would the CIA go to all this trouble to plant forged newspaper ads instead of planting a forged birth certificate?

There's no logic in Kooksville.

479 JCW  Sun, Mar 22, 2009 10:41:53pm

Since Pamela Geller has misappropriated her blog's name, perhaps she should be referred to as Faux Shrugged in order to be clearer.

480 the_flying_pig  Mon, Mar 23, 2009 9:01:41am

For the record, I stand corrected. Pamela Geller should apologize outright to Charles Johnson for the public flogging suggestion, also she needs to be careful siding with those who might find her as an useful idiot.
I did some re-thinking last night and realized I have come to a wrong conclusion about hers and Charles'. Credibility and accuracy of the facts do matter in these cases, also siding with fascists against Islamic supremacism is a bad idea (a reminder about the scorpion and the frog brought up in my mind). Charles' blog outweighed that of Pam's blog on these issues. Looking at her blog and the higher frequency of blog-posting, I have to ask: does she has OCD?
Sorry if I had upset Charles' applecart or question him. I shall be silenced from then on. Logging out for good and going into the wilderness. Keep up the good fight for freedom of speech, stop political and Islamic/religious supremacists, don't give them any inch please.

at the risk of being excommunicated......
an official at Hawaii's public records says there is a valid birth certificate
but why can't we see it?
Obama says there is a valid birth certificate
but why can't we see it?
Bill Clinton says there is a valid birth certificate
but why can't we see it?
the Queen of England says there is a valid birth certificate
but why can't we see it?
Mahatmas Ghandi says there is a valid birth certificate
but why can't we see it?

the point here is not disputing evidence that has been publicly and carefully explained, like a Troofer, but rather being able to examine evidence that has never been produced.

granted there is a "certificate of live birth". i have no comment on its authenticity, but do know there is a great deal of debate about it. that being said, why can't we see the actual birth certificate?

Charles, for someone who so brilliantly uncovered the chicanery over at CBS, how hard is it to call for a president to show his birth certificate, and put this whole controversy to rest?

or are there no CBS style conspiracies in politics?

Let us see just how smart the framers were, make the birth certificate public. it just too easy not to.

you want to keep a death grip on a dead end conspiracy theory.

490 dwdw49  Tue, Mar 24, 2009 3:17:57pm

is this alice through the looking glass? my question is simply this;

why can't we, you and i, see the actual birth certificate?

you say i don't want evidence, but isn't the actual birth certificate evidence? you say i don't want facts, but isn't the actual birth certificate all the facts anyone needs?

i grant you there is a 99.44% chance that there is a real birth certificate. but how hard is it to release it, to know with 100% certainty that he is elegible? i'll pay the $30 bucks it will cost, just to quiet everyone up.

"trust everyone, but cut the cards"

491 Charles Johnson  Tue, Mar 24, 2009 4:40:18pm

Still at it, I see.

492 Salamantis  Tue, Mar 24, 2009 7:12:01pm

Once the nirthers got to see it, they'd just say:

"But is this the ACTUAL actual birth certificate? Just because so-and-so SAYS that it is proves nothing."

The point being that conspiracy theories, like religious dogmas, are unfalsifiable for the Faithful. NOTHING will satisfy the True Believer - EVER.

493 Irish Rose  Wed, Mar 25, 2009 7:45:31am

Let's get right to the root of it, shall we?

Geller hates CJ with a passion, and she's never going to rest until she uncovers an "exclusive" like the LGF Rathergate memos. Why? Because she desperately needs something to rub in Charles' face.

It's why she is continually floating bizarre theories. It's why she obsessively posts hastily-written SCREAMING CAP-SCLUSIVES full of "outrage" and typos, based solely upon undocumented information. It's why she doesn't bother to vet her "sources" before she rushes an ""Atlas exclusive" to the front page out ahead of everyone else... even if her "exclusives" later prove to be wrong or bogus.

It's also why she doesn't listen to her more reasonable commentators who are suggesting more and more often these days, that she might try using a little common sense before she posts something.
