Will someone please identify whatever is in the water and isolate it so that others may not become contaminated. Oh, I know that this sounds a wee bit like the precious fluids issue that affected one Gen. Jack T. Ripper, but I kid you not, this is a clear and present danger.
I once heard that this is a more insulting epithet than son-of-a-bitch because the mothers were hookers who came onto ships and had sex by the big guns.
I have thoughts of John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster -- sire of kings, though never one himself -- but somehow, Ron Paul simply doesn't rise to the level.
The rise of political dynasties in America is profoundly disturbing, and must be stopped before it proceeds any further. This country already possesses a destructive, full-time class of professional politicians who have never done anything but hold government positions. Adding heritable positions only makes it exponentially worse.

But, I digress.
kinda like a 'little bugger'

the miners came in forty-nine
the whores in fifty one
and when they got together
produced the native son.
By the way, the Arab world has no monopoly on misogyny.
At American Thinker today there's an article calling Barack Obama "Our First Female President," chock full of negative stereotypes about women and feminism. A quote:
While some might choose to describe BO as our first metrosexual President, the clincher is that, consistent with all outward appearances, the Obama administration fights like a girl.

up-ding
(however ... I can't resist adding)
We have to stop plugging these hair-itable positions or there'll be hell toupee.

And people wonder why I think misogyny still runs too deep in our culture for us to elect a woman.

Theyve been around for awhile.
The Adams
The Roosevelts
The Kennedys
The Gores
The Bushes
All Chicago politics
The Clintons (husband and wife, when does Chelsea join)
It is prevalent even in individual states and small towns.

The recent Guy Cimbalo Hate*** list and the followup (liberal writer Tommy Christopher got fired for taking exception to the misogyny) is a prime example of that.

You obviously aren't comparing that quote to religiously sanctioned battery.
Dr. Paul has been married to his loving wife, Kelley, for 18 years and has three boys. Rand Paul is a career doctor, not a politician. His entrance into politics is indicative of his life’s work: a desire to diagnose problems, and provide practical solutions.
While some might choose to describe BO as our first metrosexual President, the clincher is that, consistent with all outward appearances, the Obama administration fights like a girl.
While I understand and certainly don't support the mysogynistic undertone of the statement, I have to say I know quite a few women that would wallop my backside were I to even consider a fight.
I have thoughts of John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster -- sire of kings, though never one himself -- but somehow, Ron Paul simply doesn't rise to the level.
Just mentioning them in the same sentence almost merits a down ding. :)

Guess that writer has never seen me with my DE .50.

I'm not familiar with Ralph Alter (sounds like a made up name), but he is apparently AT's humor writer.
There are alternatives if PATH is screwed for the evening rush, but it's a schlep. I'll get home tonight - it's only a matter of when. No need to get a room in the city.

My wife uses the phrase "...like a girl" all the time on my sons and me. At dinner last night when my youngest was explaining his less that stellar grades, she told him to quit "being such a girl." So is this sort of like how Blacks can use the N word and whites can't?
Don't know about the "feminization" thing, but it does occur to me that women largely supported/voted for both Clinton and Obama, who were both raised without stable male role models in their homes, which recalls the "Mommy-pleasing" behavior (and subsequent appeal to women) aspect I learned about way back in Psych 101.
Do the chicks dig the Dem pols because the Dem pols adapted to appeal to the chicks?

Rand Paul. Well, just did a search and it looks like they like him over at Stormfront. Just heard a video of an interview of Rand Paul and he used the phrase, "Bush regime."

Chicks dig sharp dressed men. Those chicks who swoon at Obama or Clinton creep me out.

They seem to be engaging in a dramatic increase. Your last four examples are all currently active.
Agree, to, on the local level. Detroit is blessed to have John Conyers as their representative, and his lovely wife, Monica, on the city council. No doubt Monica will be seeking national office soon, now that Cynthia McKinney has left a gaping hole in the Batshit Crazy wing of Federal politics.
I know the Kentucky GOP is trying to get rid of Bunning, but surely they can do better than this.
Honestly, I've read a few articles about Bunning, and I'm not sure why the KY GOP has such a problem with the guy. And compared with Mini LuapNor? Sweet merciful heavens...

He's not polling well at home and his fund raising thus far sucks..
He's notoriously hard to work with.
He also showed up on the floor of the senate wearing his pajamas leaving some to wonder if he might be getting senile.
I mentioned this in one of the recent threads. :) Also Rand Paul was on none other than; Alex Jones' show. I think you can find it on youtube. I bet there are some nuggets in it.
oh btw Rand Paul's real name is Randy. He goes by Rand because of ... Ayn Rand.
Also Paul is pushing this other guy Adam Kokesh:
Ron Paul’s Family Tree: The Liberty Movement Under a Republican Banner: [Link: www.politicallore.com...]
Looks like he's using all that unused campaign money to fund an attempted takeover of the Republican Party.

I went to this gay guy for a haircut once, spelled his name Rand, but prounounced it Ran D.
You don't have the slightest understanding of the difference between government action and private action, and you have certainly destroyed any case you might otherwise have had with this Senator. -- Senator Gorton, to which Frank Zappa responds with "Is this private action?"
