They embraced the term ages ago, so I've been calling them teabaggers from the start. It's not my fault they didn't Google the term to find out any sexual meaning for it, so I don't have any guilt in using it.

I'd call them by a more serious name if I had any reason to take them seriously.
But the tea parties consist mostly of rabble being roused into cultural resentment. There's no coherent, or even consistent, policy prescription being offered here.
And their concern trolling over deficits is a transparent fraud. When their party and a president they found acceptable were ballooning the deficit, they had no problem with it.

The teabaggers all talk about bootstrapping your way through life and taking responsibility. Well, the same applies as far as the name. If they don't like it, then they can just pull up their bootstraps, adjust their big girl panties, and take responsibility for inflicting the name on themselves. Catering to their feelings would be emotional welfare, and we can't have that for the Don't Tread on Me types. =P

Sir Thomas Lipton, of tea fame, on one of his yachts. He was very rich.
I once attended a lecture by an American book artist, married to a Hungarian guy. THey met and married in Budapest, then moved to the states. He went grocery shopping one day, and returned, troubled, to ask why there was an American tea brand with Stalin's picture on it. She said there wasn't. After some confusion he took her to the store and showed her.
She said "That's Colonel Lipton, sweetheart."

GOP tries to take out tea party-backed candidate
[Link: news.yahoo.com...]
"Not long after tea party-backed Joe Miller stunned Alaska GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski, the Republican establishment is furiously trying to avoid a similar outcome in the Delaware primary on Tuesday. Republican leaders, top strategists and even the Delaware state GOP chairman have taken the unusual step of openly working to defeat O'Donnell and ensure the nomination of their preferred candidate, nine-term Rep. Mike Castle.
Republicans, who have an outside chance of capturing the majority in the Senate in November, see Castle as their best chance of winning the seat long held by Vice President Joe Biden. The moderate Castle is a former governor and has been the state's lone congressman since 1993."
We here in Washington state had a choice in which Republican challenger would go up against Sen. Patty Murray - Rossi or Didier. Palin had come out in support of Didier. Dino prevailed.

Oh, it's probably the usual Tea Party inside tensions. Paul vs. Palin and all that. And it's like this on a number of issues. For instance, FreedomWorks (or Dick Armey at least) also has a pro-immigration stance which a lot of teabaggers don't like.
This is one of the things in which the Tea Party is unusual -- unlike other movements (anti-war, pro-life, pro-choice, etc), they actually don't have a coherent set of policies they would like to implement on almost any area. Even the "cut spending now!" stuff would probably fall apart the moment the older teabaggers (and there are a lot of those) would realize the implications this would have to Social Security and Medicare.
I think that's the reason many of their slogans are conveniently vague -- They're mad as hell, they're against Marxism, and they want their country back. The movement can't much more specific than that without imploding.

The clothes can be a bit of a pain, but many of the women's garments are actually very attractive.
Stays perform the same function as a bra, but also give considerable back support, which is valuable when doing work around the camp or homesite.

Google it, I think the number is still on YouTube. It's from a larger piece called "Jihad! The Musical." In this song, the young hero contemplates how he wants to be 'like Osama B.'
At some point, girls in pink burqas run onstage and dance around him with cardboard cut-outs of automatic weapons.
Do not watch while drinking coffee.
I wanna be like Osama
I wanna wear designer clothes beneath a robe
While my lackeys loom like vultures, I’ll declare a clash of cultures,
Kill civilians by the millions round the globe
Grow a beard down to my navel, conquer YouTube, get on cable,
And be wealthier than any man I know
Please make me like Osama B.

You have to be about 50 or older to get it. Back when Jimmy Carter was in his unlamented Presidency, his professionally redneck brother Billy endorsed a brand of beer made by Falls City Brewing of Louisville. It was absolute crap, even worse than Falls City's own stuff. You could use it for cooking and that's about it; as drinking beer it was totally without merit.
