President Michele?

Wingnuts • Views: 22,803

Here’s the perfect Presidential candidate for teabaggers who find Sarah Palin too cerebral: Bachmann considering White House bid.

WASHINGTON - Fresh off winning re-election and proving she can raise massive amounts of campaign cash, Rep. Michele Bachmann is beginning to consider a presidential run, according to close congressional aides.

As part of that effort, the Minnesota Republican is traveling to the early caucus state of Iowa on Jan. 21 to confer with state GOP leaders and address a group of conservative tax activists.

That will put her in Iowa a week before former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who has spent nearly two years laying the groundwork and building credentials for a possible presidential campaign. He heads to New York next week to roll out a book tour.

While Bachmann has made no firm decision about a White House bid in 2012, “nothing is off the table,” press aide Sergio Gor told the Star Tribune Wednesday, confirming an earlier ABC News report that quoted Bachmann chief of staff Andy Parrish.

No. That’s wasting the crazy. It’s better to have both of them available to contaminate any other Repub’s ticket.

Michele? or MICHELLE? I’d say, Oh hell ya!

Bachman would go down faster than Palin and O’Donnell combined. And what would her constituents think who just elected her? Guess she would Palinize* them!

*To Palinize is to leave your duly elected seat whenever you see an opportunity for fame or fortune.

Agreed. Bachmann can fire up the teabaggers, but she could not assemble the campaign infrastructure needed to win. Thankfully, winning a modern presidential primary requires lots of money and those with big money aren’t going to waste it on her.

Yeah season 4 was awesome, ending was amazing but really depressing (won’t spoil it here).

I have to say that season 5 had a somewhat disappointing ending, seems like they wasted an opportunity with a certain character that should have stayed (again won’t spoil it).

This is one of those shows that’s going to be pretty hard to wrap up, really curious who it will end.

Watched through season 4. I’m on Netflix so I gotta wait for the 5th season. Great show, hands down.

A friend of mine “Liked” her on facebook. Apparently he had a political “awakening” some time ago. Judging by his posts, he has decided to mainline the Alex Jones and every right-wing Subpar Friends kool-aid. This story would make him giddy. It makes me wonder about her mental health, shaky as it is anyway.

And Dexter rules. One of the few shows my wife and I watch together

She can’t be president, her birth certificate says “Mars”.

58 ClaudeMonet  Wed, Jan 5, 2011 10:37:27pm

Look at the bright side. If Bachmann runs for President and manages to stay in the race a while, perhaps she’ll miss the filing deadline to retain her House seat. Just about anyone would be an upgrade, and in her case, the challenger last November, Tarryl Clark, has some pretty good credentials.

Then Bachmann could achieve more fame and fortune by becoming a Fox commentator, meaning I’d never see her again.

59 theheat  Wed, Jan 5, 2011 11:02:52pm

Those eyebrows are high art in the circles she runs. Eyebrows like that don’t come along but once in a blue moon, though I see them a lot more often with Bachmann and Palin out and about. Between the two of them, the glory of their brow art is almost too much to endure.

Eyebrows like this belong in an art gallery. Or mental institution.

re#22 Decatur Deb,
I’m surprised you’ve heard of Graham Norton;is he known in the USA?
Everyday one hears of some new possible GOP candidate!(for president)
Who next Glenn Beck?
What’s happened to serious republicans?
Can’t they see that the Palins,Huckabees, and Bachmanns of this world will lead the GOP into the abyss?(if they’re not already there?)
The rest of the world waits in trepidation.
I suspect that if one of these comedians is chosen;then even loyal ,thinking ,republicans will “refudiate” them.
