Holy crap...it took me two and a half hours to get Verizon to port my work phone number to a private account (I'm leaving my current company on Friday to take a new position with a start-up). Pain in the fuckin' ass. But now I have one of those shiny Samsung Galaxy SIII things...it's the size of a freakin' kindle...that reminds me...I need to add the Kindle app to it.

Is there a low res option? I feel like I'm back on dial up. When the whole thing is finally loaded, it still won't play in sync. (I use the lowest resolution on YouTube.)

Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) was more than surprised when informed by Senator Barbara Boxer that roughly 98 percent of climate scientists, contra Christy, accepted that anthropogenic warming was real and serious — he was outraged:
Sessions: Madam Chairman, I am offended by that, I’m offended by that — I didn’t say anything about the scientists. I said the data shows [sic] it is not warming to the degree that a lot of people predicted, not close to that much…
Boxer: The conclusion that you’re coming to is shared by 1-2 percent of the scientists. You shouldn’t be offended by that. That’s the fact.
Sessions: I don’t believe that’s correct.

Before I got my Win7 built, I managed to get my XP machine to play HD video pretty well. A better video card did the trick. Then I tried to edit HD. Ugh. But playback is doable.
