National Review Pulls Doctored Photo From Michelle Malkin Article Without Explanation or Retraction
Yes, folks, today the National Review has quietly removed that doctored 10-year old photo of a Texas Walmart they claimed showed a store in Venezuela: Ask Venezuelans How Sanders-Style Socialism Is Working Out for Them | National Review Online.
(And by the way, it’s absurd to compare Bernie Sanders’ style of socialism with the Venezuelan model; Sanders advocates for something like Nordic capitalism, which does include elements of socialism but bears very little resemblance to Chavez-style socialism.)

I’d say “good on them for doing the right thing,” except they didn’t. The right thing would have been to post a correction and explain why the photo was removed. But this is pretty much how the right wing operates these days: try to pull a fast one, then quietly remove the evidence when it’s called out.
