Video: Donald Trump “Reaches Out” to Black Voters With a Rap Song

Set “pandering” on stun
Politics • Views: 60,485

Here’s a little last minute pandering from Donald Trump on New York primary day, as he retweets a video from his “social media director” Dan Scavino with a lot of the same footage as the last pathetic video that tried to claim he’s supported by black and Hispanic voters.

He has to recycle footage showing African Americans supporting him because, well, there’s not really much of it.

Could that scene of him and Melania kissing have been more awkward?

She honestly looks like she’s skeeved out by touching him.

The GOP convention should be resolved by competing kissing booths. Trump in one and Cruz in the other. Whoever manages to kiss both of them without vomiting should be the Republican nominee. Paul Ryan doesn’t count.

Oh my…..

Shaun King may have plagiarized a story from the Daily Beast.

Not good at all, and I can’t wait for the excuses to keep rolling.

Mind you, this is on the area he came to prominence on - dealing with excessive force/police brutality - not the political beat.

And this should rightfully get everything else he’s written for the Daily News scrutinized for plagiarism. The editors there will have their hands full, especially if there’s a pattern of plagiarism - the only answer for which is termination.

Because he’s a dishonest hack.

He built up a lot of good will after Mike Brown was murdered in Ferguson. He squandered it with his Feel The Bern bullshit and salted the earth with his hack fraud reporting for NY Daily News.

Somehow I don’t see him apologizing for plagiarizing reporting whole cloth. He’s going to claim persecution or some such shit.

This is me, totally done with Shaun King.

Probably doesn’t have to get a $25 emissions test, either—like I have to before the end of the month.

Bernie supporters I’m seeing just can’t accept the fact that the vast majority of elected Democrats prefer Clinton. Some crazy shit about them being bought off. Nah, it can’t be that they prefer a candidate that actually sees the value of getting other Democrats elected and not being in the ivory tower.

The FAA warned DJT Operations CX, the LLC that Trump owns and that operates his plane, when the registration was set to expire and reminded the LLC again when it did expire, according to the report. But the Times noted those notices were sent to National Registered Agents, a company Trump does not own that he listed as the contact for DJT Operations CX when he first registered the aircraft.

“One weird trick” the wealthy use to avoid paying invoices, fees on time.

re: #23 darthstar

$5 is ridiculously and absurdly low compared to cars, trucks, and other assorted items for which licensing is required. You’d think that it’d be comparable to motor vehicles in most places (and increasing those fees might help the FAA fund their NEXTGEN systems, which are criminally underfunded - even though the systems would help reduce congestion, improve efficiencies and travel times by making routings more direct and reduce costs to everyone over time).

FWIW, the plane in question isn’t the gaudy 737 shown in that stock image, but a smaller puddle jumper (not in Trump livery).

Oh, and the FAA sends multiple notices starting at 6 months, then at 2 months to remind of the renewal. Trump’s team ignored all that.

There’s that attention to detail.

re: #42 darthstar

In the days around massive lottery jackpots, I take a look at NetJets and other leasing arrangements, so that when I win the big game, I could get a fractional share so I can jet out to any national park in the nation at any time.

That’s where it ends. I think owning a plane is just a step above owning a boat - a money pit, but oh what fun to have.

45
HappyWarrior  Apr 19, 2016 • 12:00:09pm

Tulsa’s got a bad history man. I saw a documentary on the race riots that happened there in the early 20’s. It’s part of why white people need to shut the fuck up telling black people to get over racism and Jim Crow.

re: #46 Charles Johnson

That’s horseshit. There is absolutely no plausible reason for him to have quoted the entire two paragraphs. Here is what it would have looked like:

“When Williams arrived to the county jail’s booking area in the early morning of Oct. 22, Owasso officer Jack Wells slammed him to the floor while trying to handcuff him, according to the cop’s own interview with OSBI. Officer Wells told OSBI he ‘landed on top of Elliott’s shoulder and head,’ but that the prisoner ‘appeared to be fine with no injuries.’
Still, the Tulsa sheriff office’s appeared to disagree. In an internal report, the sheriff’s department says Williams struggled after the fall, and that his condition was captured on booking cameras. ‘At this time it is obvious that Williams is having a difficult time standing,’ the document stated.”

Why?

55
lawhawk  Apr 19, 2016 • 12:08:22pm

re: #51 teleskiguy

I’m not buying that. If someone sent me a piece with a quote and subquotes, you’d bet I’d be suggesting that they edit that work to eliminate the quotes, not to drop quotes entirely.

It’s laziness on King’s part, and a screwup by the editor who doesn’t understand the point of the quotes.

And yes - it’s still up to King to make sure that it goes out as he intended.
