Watch Live: Donald Trump Rants in New Hampshire
I wouldn’t inflict this on you, dear readers, but with Trump’s recent bizarre self-destructive behavior it’s worth watching just to see what kind of insane things he’s going to say today.

Trump in NH: “I’ll be the last one to use nuclear…Believe me, I would be the last one.”
— Sopan Deb (@SopanDeb) August 7, 2016
Trump would let ISIS nuke the USA before he nuked them.
Weak!
Sad!
“ISIS is looking, folks. They dream of Hillary Clinton. They look at her, and they say…how great is this,” Trump said tonight in NH.

ISIS wants the world to believe that there’s a war between the West and Islam. And Trump will help them make it a reality.
“It’s an embarrassment they didn’t find her guilty….”
Um, she has to be charged first. Then found guilty at a trial. You should know that, fuck face.
Guy shouts “Build the wall.” Trump responds: “It’s more than a wall. It’s an attitude.”

So much for Donald not telling our enemies what we will and won’t do.
Donald, I’ll be the last to use nuclear, electricity, an airplane, unseasonal vegetables, etc….

So, he is wearing his red hat tonight, eh?
Is that because it is hot and humid in the building and his head would look like a drowned rat without it?
And it sure sounds like he is just rattling off nonsense…well more than usual.
I just posted at the end of the last thread and said it sounds like he is running out of gas. He’s sputtering and reaching for anything.
He is the gambler that is flat broke but the next roll of the dice is going to change it all.
Edit - no red hat…I was caught out by the image at the top of the thread.

The gasbag not passing out on the stage is now a very respectable, high bar which should be praise worthy?
re: #80 b.d.
Yea Donald, adopt George Washington’s worldview of global trade.
Timely!
But:
Washington wraps up his foreign policy stance by advocating free trade with all nations arguing that trade links should be established naturally and the role of the government should be limited to insuring stable trade, defending the rights of American merchants, and any provisions necessary to insure that the government is able to insure the conventional rules of trade.
and:
The President’s strong inclination in response to British provocations was to seek a diplomatic solution. But the envoy to England, John Jay, negotiated a weak treaty that undermined freedom of trade on the high seas and failed to compensate Americans for slaves taken by the British during the Revolution. Worst of all, the treaty did not address the then-common British practice of impressment. Congress approved the treaty with the proviso that trade barriers imposed by England be lessened. Washington, while dissatisfied with elements of the treaty, signed it nonetheless.
Drumpfskind fascistic fantasies of imposing massive duties on imports would seem to run counter to Washington’s own inclinations.

I read that back in the 1980s. I came to the conclusion from that and other apocalyptic books that it would probably be best to die in the fireball from a nuclear attack, rather than have a lingering existence suffering from the aftereffects of radiation poisoning. (The Day After didn’t help either, it was so hopeless.)
In some ways, the 80s with Reagan in charge felt hopeless, like the End was going to come some day, some way.

I do believe it was a national buy. I saw it in true blue New York State, too.
Which ad was it?
re: #205 Stanley Sea
It was about economic development and job creation. Good ad. Got my attention.

I saw the ad today here in NYC. I don’t watch much tv, but I do watch the Olympics, so smart move by the Clinton team imo. Looking forward to Donny wasting millions on the NY market. Here’s hoping they’ll all feature Carl Paladino, Trump’s state campaign chief who’s even less popular than Trump and Rudy G. put together.

Pathological liars
I just mentioned my state of New York, and I can’t help but notice that nobody in the NY-centric media seems to give a feck that both major party campaigns are being run out of New York, and the so-called anti-elitist Trump crowd seems to be cool with it.
I guess what I’m trying to say is this is the weirdest election year ever, and I’ve been through some doozies.
On second thought, they’re all doozies, aren’t they?

I keep saying I want to see Trump’s tax returns, but the truth is if he gave them to me directly I’d avoid the task like the plague.

Weird end to women’s beach volleyball match between China and Switzerland. The Swiss won a point, China challenged it and won, winning the match, then the Swiss challenged the challenge and got a do-over! China ended up winning the match anyway.

My guess is that the NY-centric media probably expects the campaigns to be run out of NY (or LA, SF, Chicago) because those are big (non-Southern) cities and that’s the way the world works. As for the anti-elitist Trump crowd - they don’t really care because they’re not really anti-elitist, they’re just anti-elitists-who-don’t-agree-with-them.
Dim Jim is too stupid to understand that anything released by Wikileaks is tainted (not to mention probably bogus) and can’t be admitted as evidence. Putin and his stooge Julian just want to fuck some rats.

Gee. And to think Julian told Bill Mahar Friday the WL has an accuracy rate in the 3 9’s.

“The Walking Dead” is a suitable allegory.

The city I grew up in in the 70s and 80s has a major Air Force base, and had nuclear missile silos. Occasionally my classmates and I would talk about what we would do if we saw the trails that indicated a missile launch. What a great way to grow up. It’s something I’m glad my kids don’t have to worry about, and our job is to make sure they don’t have to worry about it.
