The last encounter between the two principals once again was a failed exercise in political interspecies communication. Both communicated in English, such as it was, but Hillary Rodham Clinton spoke English as though she had learned it shortly after her birth, while Trump spoke it as if he were one of those chimpanzees to whom people tried to teach sign language.

Just look at that mug. Looks like a squeezed out lemon.
Trump enters the race to the sound of tremendous applause among GOPers. He immediately blames all that ails the nation on The Other. Silence from GOP critics.
Trump attacks Muslims, calls for Muslim ban, and there’s little outrage among GOP.
Trump attacks Hispanics. Again little in way of outrage.
Trump attacks Judge Curiel. Crickets
Trump goes after the white supremacist and neo Nazi vote on Twitter. Excuses from GOPers, but again crickets.
Trump again goes after Muslims, cementing his status as an Islamophobe and nativist. Crickets.
Trump caught on hot mic that he’s grabbed women and sexually assaulted them and gotten away with it because he’s Donald F’in Trump. This apparently was the bridge too far for some GOPers.
Trump’s telegraphed his bigotry from day 1. Nothing has changed. The GOP wont step away from this.
I’m not worried about Trump voters “taking to the streets” en masse.

“…I think he plans on being martyred. I think in his martyrdom he’s going to wave the bloody shirt and he’s going to go out and say through a party of grievance and resentment that “we were cheated and this was stolen” and he’ll have a critical mass [for] a UKIP style third party that splits off from the Republican Party. Who knows where the funding for Trump TV will come from, but it will be a media designed to undermine the democratic foundations of the United States and the credibility of our elections processes. Vladimir Putin couldn’t hope for anything better than that.”

Note, this isn’t an actual denial. It’s simply having everyone look over at the squirrel while Trump scurries away without actually answering the accusations.

Keith Olbermann is on a roll, he’s right on, I love him, and I want more, but he overstates the case against Trump, which is totally forgivable, because Keith Olbermann’s monologue totally rocks.

Let them. The more people see of Trump, the less they want him.

I have become grateful for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton should be, too. He is exposing the Republican Party in ways that no other candidate could. He is almost guaranteed to lose. And Hillary, in my opinion, is really a flawed candidate, not unqualified at all, just flawed. There are other Republicans who probably could beat her, not that I would vote for them, but there are other Republicans who are smart enough not to be so clearly and vociferously wrong, inappropriate, and unqualified.
