Trump is the most annoying motherfucker.
i do not know what people see in him at all. He’s one of the most unlikable people I’ve ever seen not just in politics but overall. Born in the clubhouse with champagne on him, he thinks he invented not only baseball but the ball itself.

I’ve been thinking the same too. These people claim to oppose gays because in their words (not mine) LGBT people are child abusers but yet many of them are casting their lot in with Moore and then you have the many who have said that a girl of fourteen should have been flattered to haev an ADA hitting on her. NOw, I don’t like Milo obviously but it proves to me that he wouldn’t have had his fall from grace at CPAC if it had been underaged girls he had a thing about.
Arne Carlson is one of the two republicans I’ve ever voted for. He was MN governor from 1990 until 1999. I still think he’s great, but he’s become a persona non grata to the MN republican party. He doesn’t care.

My personal belief is if Moore wins tomorrow, Franken should rescind his resignation.
Among the many things the Trump Administration can’t afford other than trillion dollar tax cuts for the rich is relief for students under the burden of college loans to attend failed for-profit colleges that ripped them off.

Well if you were going to vote for Republicans, those were good ones to vote for.
I flipped about ten years ago because of Bush and the Iraq War, etc. If McCain had won in 2008, it wouldn’t have killed me. Obama won, and he changed me for the better. When Trump was nominated, I pretty much swore the Republican party off forever. The GOP’s support of Roy Moore, regardless of what happens tomorrow, sealed their fate. The Republican party is dead to me. Dead.

Three.
1) Steve Gunderson - former congressman from Osseo, Wi.
2) Lee Sherman Dreyfus - former Governor of Wisconsin.
Both were very definitely Republican but still put State before Party. Gunderson is gay as well and was forced out of office after being outed.
3) Reagan, 2nd term. - I could not bring myself to vote for Mondale due to the damage to NASA that he’d caused. So, in for a penny in for a pound I voted for the scumbag instead.

Whoo! I’m not quite sure how I feel about this. Evidently Charles’s filters grind exceedingly fine in some cases. In the first sentence above, I used a common slur of Middle Easterners regarding the clothly nature of Arabs’ (not most Armenians’) headwear. And the filter turned this to “[bigoted word]” but somehow preserved the plural terminal “s.” (The word backwards is sdaehgar.) I don’t think the comment could possibly be interpreted by anyone here as prejudiced; it’s pure freakin satire of prejudice. And even though I know full well that Charles runs the best damn site on the intertubes, I still get a little “1984” frisson from this.

The issue: The GOP’s been in a downward spiral for years now. Yet they keep winning elections. My count of Doug Jones begging emails for today is up to 13. Fortunately, my spam filter knows what it needs to do.
I’ve gotten 10. Plus emails from other candidates, including two from Ann Kirkpatrick, who is going to try to run for Senate Congress again here in Arizona. *sigh* It’s a never-ending money-go-round.
Dont’ forget that this is another congressional race that became very contested in the age of Trump. All of them should have been safe seats for the GOP but they have had to spend $$$ and time to keep them. Hopefully we can keep the momentum for the next year.

re: #125 Amory Blaine
That is so unbelievable that I am laughing to keep from crying.
It’s a pretty big WTF moment.
re: #128 Amory Blaine
Any mention of a goat fellating story?
I asked the momma goat!!!
What Moore do you want???
Maybe he’s saving that story for Moore’s future presidential run.
re: #119 jaunte
I just keep scrolling by this comment to see if it’s real or my imagination.
I don’t even know what to say.
Wow. I just…wow.
re: #133 JordanRules
The weird part is, this is his testament to Roy Moore’s ability to RESIST TEMPTATION.
Which doesn’t do much for the whole “he’s no pedophile” claim.
“Oh, he was sorely tempted. But there were witnesses, so he said no.”
re: #119 jaunte
My question is what did we all do to end up in hell when the world ended?

An evangelical preacher in Oklahoma, who ran a massage business when he wasn’t behind the pulpit, has been arrested on prostitution charges along with a female employee who espouses white supremacy views.
I wonder who he voted for?

I see that I was correct in predicting that Republicans will gladly dig below the bottom of the barrel. They’re now past China Syndrome…

“Abetting a cover-up”: Watergate reporter says @FoxNews is complicit in Trump misconduct.
Maybe it’s time Fox stops using the false title ‘news.’ 🤔https://t.co/4bUmIypZSJ— RynheartTheReluctant (@TheRynheart) December 10, 2017
Could we delay the election a couple weeks to give Moore time for more rallies?
re: #142 Decatur Deb
Moore’s bringing a whole new demographic to the GOP Big Tent.

Another week and we’re going to see “Pedophiles Against Moore” PACs.
Good point. Trump brags about wandering around dressing room watching Miss USA contestants dress. One of them says “Yes, he did that.” And Cult45 calls her a liar. Logic is not with them. https://t.co/yCFmbwspmd

PreTeen Girls for Moore.
Spokesgirl: “We would vote for Roy if’n we could vote. He’s nice, he gives us candy.”
Who among us hasn’t said: “My God, how did I wind up in this underage brothel???”
Night before the election and Moore’s bud tells the world that they went to a child brothel.
Fuck me if that isn’t the damnedest thing I have ever heard of.

To be countered by “Underage Prostitutes: We Want Moore!”

Well…Roy did know the way.

Probably not the best story to use if you’re trying to not have a pervert label.
It was a accident!!

Hey, I got an invitation to a Winter Reception for Kurt Summers! Not a clue who he is (I guess he’s Chicago City Treasurer) or what he’s running for, but I don’t think I can make it to Chicago for the event on Wednesday.
