There was a tax on medical devices, but the TCJA repealed that provision in an effort to abolish the ACA by depriving it of funding (same as with the individual mandate).

I think they realized a “we lie all the time for our conservative agenda” would not fly in Europe in the face of the BBC. And trying to market in the various European nations at once would require investing in a fairly extensive multi-lingual effort and there also fighting upstream against established networks where I expect the general media would quite quickly start calling them on their lies. And given the narrow borders and crossing of information of Europe the lies made by Fox France would probably have to differ from the lies made by Fox Germany and comparison would be pretty easy to do.

We knew who Trump was but elected him anyway. We can’t impeach him for that.
We know what kind of person he is, he is not being impeached for that.
He needs to be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors which we did not know about before the Mueller Report.

“We” elected the electors, many of whom were bound to vote a certain way. So “we” may not have directly elected him, but we did so indirectly. And as I mentioned the other day, most of our federal system was originally designed really to be indirect democracy. It’s not something that makes a whole lot of sense today, but it is the system we have.

He needs to be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors which we did not know about before the Mueller Report.
There’s several more high crimes and misdemeanors he should be impeached for as well, including abuse of power (declaring national emergencies to bypass Congress), contempt of Congress (failure to respond to subpoenas, etc), and I’m sure I can come up with a few more.

Started WAY before that - with Firewire 800. Then the move to Thunderbolt, requiring me to shitcan all the expensive external drives to buy the TB2 “toaster” for external drives.
But when they took away the MagSafe power charger - one of the few really brilliant UX-driven innovations they’ve had - and replace it with a single TB3/USB-C port that is supposedly for charging/external keyboard-mouse/monitor/audio I-O/external drives, I said FUCK NO.
NO MORE GODDAMN DONGLES.
